OK, I'm not sure what my problem is.....

But here goes. This is my FIRST set of 901 stuff. (And maybe my last. I'm thinking of saving for a 510 after this experince... those are reliable, right?)

Well, as I was saying... I've had the package let's see.... three days.

I've managed to give all the batteries but one a good long 12 hour charge.

My experiences are as follows.

First, they have two LED colors, one for normal op and one which blinks.

They turn on by themselves.... holding the main color, then blinking the secondary color about 15 or 16 times. They do this on or off an atomizer.

If pluged into an atomizer, it's like they start the cleaning cycle right off.... First they give me a long glow of the primary color. then they blink the secondary color about fifteen times.

This is like maybe they need a charge, but that's right off the charger.

During this process, the atmoizer heats up alot, and if the mouthpeice is removed, one will (Sometimes) find the coil inside is hot enough to emit visable light. I don't think the coil is suppose to glow orange.... There seems to be no way to get them to work any other way....

If one allows this to run, it stops after a few seconds, and then starts again pretty soon.

Are these defective, or am I missing something?

GreySaber--do you have the new Microphone switch batteries or the older manual ones. The new micophone switch batteries are very sensitive and fire on and off with movement and sound--which is an inherent problem with these batteries---so what you may think is the cleaning cycle may be these new batteries just being to sensitive when new. Many of these get better with use-------Sun

Well, then why do I get a green light on a pink LED batt flashing 15 times.... each time?

From what you describe here--it does sound like your batteries do keep going into the cleaning cycle--and it is odd that they are both doing it and that they are new so it is not a function of e-liquid getting stuck in the atomizer--I would call it a day on this kit in the name of defective and return it as those batteries are no good and only going to burn out your atomizer----Sun
