My 901 has a blue led that lights up when I draw, and then an orange one that blinks when it needs a charge.

But last night, the Blue LED started randomly flickering...anywhere from 1 time to several before it trails off and then flickers again.

It's not self cleaning I don't think, the atty is cool and the vape tastes good still. Also, it wasn't near a loud speaker and no thumping on the table it was laying on.

Any ideas? Is the batt getting ready to die?

It's about a week old.

thanks!

Depending on the battery type, vibration and loud noises can trigger it to turn on. If you had something that was just on the threshold of a noise or vibration that would trigger it, then that would make sense that it would flicker on or off.

The only thing I'm unsure of is if any of the 901's have a auto-switch of that style on their batteries. My M401 does, but the batteries I currently have for my 901 don't.

Anyways, any loud noses or banging around going on yesterday? :)

well the upstairs neighbors have a couple or REALLY loud kids that often bang and jump around...and yell and scream and slam stuff and fight...but I digress....

I was aware that some models could react to vibrations and noises, so I was kind of watching for it...I couldn't feel anything. I was mostly worried that the batt might be dying...hope that's not the case!

I don't have vibration or noise issues but I found that my batteries, which also have the blue LED, flash intermittenly when I fill with too much juice in cart or atty. I suppose it is going through the hole on the atty to battery at the contact point? If I take the "blinking" battery off and set it aside for a day or two, it will work fine. Since I think this is the issue (too much juice), I have been very diligent to not over fill my carts (or drip too much - just a drop or two) and have had no issues since. :D

Moonlight, i think the internal switch in the battery is getting a little erratic. That can occur from juice getting down inside or can be just a plain sticky switch.
I had one that would do that every so often. When it would start getting crazy on me i would take it off the atomizer, hold it atomizer end up and tap the led end on a hard surface a few times.

Hope that helps.
