Hello All;

I have a customer who just received his 901 batteries today.
This is from one manufacturer batch I ordered (about 30 batteries), and there have not been any other problems, so I'm perplexed.

This is what he is reporting from his batteries which I pre-charged before I mailed, and then he charged for an additional 5 hrs.

"The switches in the battery are all exhibiting the exact same behaviour though. They are shutting off by themselves randomly, usually after 1-2 seconds while drawing on them."

Is this a known issue?
Can someone help?
Thanks so much;
Rhonda

I would ask your customer if he is dripping directly on the atomizer. Ive noticed with many automatic batteries that if any liquid gets into the battery housing that it can cause many battery malfunctions including what you mentioned. The switch mechanism seems to malfunction if liquid gets into it. I would recommend just topping off the cart or if you are going to drip then only one to two drops, paying careful attention not to overdo it.

My 801 batteries did the same thing, barely blinked...then off. Now this probably isn't recommended, but... I took the battery and my vacuum cleaner and while holding the battery threaded end firmly in my hand and sealing the suction with the tube, applied a few quick suctions to it. Why? Because I ascertained that I had a stuck switch. Sure enough, after doing this a few times on the threaded end and then the LED end and back. Now it lights fine.

This is a NEW 801, only 3 days old.
BOTH of my 801 batteries were acting-up and I did this to both of them. I am thinking that there is a slightly defective part or assembly procedure going on here.
Anyway, I will update if this reoccurs on my batteries or if I find that this procedure broke them, as I just tried this today.
