901 battery LED question

hey guys
i curious.
i have quite a few flat leds that come with the OEM 901 battery
can i just hook em up to a battery or do these need a resistor as well?

On the small round PCB there are 2 leds (or one depending on version) and an even smaller black thingy. That one is the resistor, so yes, you will need a resistor if you take out the LED or directly power the small PCB with the included resistor.

great so i can just hook up the PCB to the batt then. thats pretty cool siunse they are so small
