It is true that its fan base has dwindled, and honestly with the number of KR808 users this somewhat surprises me. The Auto 901 batts work with KR808 cartos and fit in the KR808 PCC nicely (or so I have heard.) Which would make Auto 901 batts very versitile. Iv considered getting one, but am way to attached to my 510 (and occasional 801). I have heard that the 901 is unmatched for flavor though, even though it lacks in the vapor production department (as compared to the 510 & 801)

EDIT: Come to think of it you dont see a whole lot of 801 talk anymore either... hmm

SLB the maker of 901 has recently showed a decline in product quality with their products. This affects the 901 and the 801's.

The Joye 510 with a flat tip looks just like the 901 and performs much better. I say get the 510 over the 901 any day.

I have bunches of 510's. I just wondered what a 901 was like.
510 is still my favorate, except for my mods.;)
I use 801's on my mods. Hope that won't be a problem. I do have an adaptor for a 510 though.

901 atties on mods though still get a lot of attention. The 901 atty at higher voltages is very good. Stock 3.2 volt chinese batteries with a standard 901 are not popular though at all. LR 901's though are very very good at 3.7 volts.

I totally agree. I think I get a smoother tasting vape using my 901 with a LR atty or using an adapter to attach a regular one to my 510 5v pass through. I get less than an hour of use with the 901 batteries and the LR atty. The 901 atty doesn't appear to get as warm as the 510 attached to the pass through. My 510s get too hot to touch.

Yeah, yeah, I know... I'm vaping too much. I hate the vent placement on the 901 atty. I find myself always attempting to make sure it's pointed upwards.

my first e-cig was a standard 901 3.7v auto and I also still have an old cisco laser pointer mod for 901
I don't use them anymore because I'm spoiled from LR510s but I bought a couple LR901s to enjoy my laser pointer again someday

only thing I don't like about 901s is that they seem to leak a lot more than 501s when dripping, add to that the hole they leak from is on the side and it adds up to a big mess

Is there any reason to ever get a 901 anymore now that you can get 510 atomizers (the SLB ones and maybe some others) that have roughly the same resistance as a 901 atomizer if you really want to?

I guess what I'm saying/asking is that really there is not much difference between them other than resistance, is there?

We’ve been testing the new 901 mega batt & atty for the last 76 days…We love it!! Never had an atty last this long. We use the Highping method every couple of days, the flavor is great, vapor production is awesome, slim, trim more like an analog & the batts last for hours. We vape constantly & cycle 2 on avg 3 on a long day & late night.

Big difference in TH and flavour between the two models. Resistance is only one variable in the equation. 510 has better TH but less flavour than the 901. Because of coil placement and barrel length, the vapor from the 510 is hotter when it gets to the mouth also.

I tried my 901 battery on my kr 808 cartos and get no air flow. But I can use my 901 atty on my kr808 battery. So I wouldn't buy anymore 901 batteries. I do buy spare attys though
