i have a black 901 battery with a blue led. it blinks orange a few times when you put it on charge. the last time i put it on the charger tho it never stopped blinking and when i removed it still didnt stop. its been blinking now for about 20 min. is it trash now? or will it die and work after blinking for so long?

I'm not a manual battery expert, and it's really a shame that people push the manual batteries, and then never show up to help the people in trouble.

I can tell you of one of my experiences. My brother in law has my old kiss box with the manual switch attachment. It started to act up, and finally, didn't work at all. We figured we had nothing to loose, so we soaked in in grain alcohol for about 24 hours, blew it out with canned air, let it set for a few hours, and the thing is working like new.

This switch had no battery connected to it, so I don't know the effects of soaking it with the battery. But as a last resort?? Try it at your own risk.

can't answer your question, but my buttons seem to keep getting stuck, and I have a heck of a time getting em fixed.

Attempt at your own risk, but this was my experience:

The button is only hitting the edge of the switch inside. Therefore, the other side of the button is hitting nothing, and it gets caught on the edge of the button hole. If you pull the button out, and look inside, the button switch should be centered in the hole where the button was. If it's not, take a flat screwdriver, and (carefully!) slide the switch over, until it's directly under the hole. Worked for me; I haven't had a problem with it since.
