Hi guys, im new here.

i just got myself a 901 mini starter pack off e-cigs.co.uk and i must say im very angry :(

I charged my battery for 3 hours as it described in the manual, attached the atomizer, put the cartridge in and proceeded to try to smoke. I followed ratindahat's video perfectly.

Yet, when i inhale i get a laughable amount of vapor(if any). I cant understand what i am doing wrong and I have followed the video. Could it be that the cig is just plain broken?

Any help will be great.

thank
brock

Did you prime the atomizer first? Any time you have a new atomizer you should prime it with a few drops of juice. I use 901b's exclusively and they produce tons of vapor. Try writing to the company that you bought them from.

yes i put a couple of drops on it as instructed in the vid... but still nothing. The LED is flashing about 9/10 times when i remove it from the atomizer which i believe means the battery needs to be re-charged. However, it has just been charged ...which i find strange. Besides, if the atomizer is getting hot i presume it is not a battery problem.

Have you tried contacting e-cigs.co.uk? They have a very good reputation and will help you out, replace any faulty parts. No point getting angry until you contact your supplier. If you get poor service, then get angry.

I will try the other battery provided first and then i will send them an email... does anyone know what the problem could be? have you come across it before?

You say you charged it for 3 hours. My instructions were to charge it the first time for at least 12 hours. After that no less than 4 hours. The battery is dead if it is blinking like that. When you screw it into the charger, does it blink 10 times? If not it is not charging. I had a battery like this. There was a problem with it's ability to charge. Keep in mind that just because the light turns green on the charger does not mean it is fully charged..

i am going to charge it for another 12 hours now and i will see how i go tomorrow.. the thing about the charger is this..

the light is always green... it never changes. From the before the 1st charge to when its charging to when its supposed to be finished... it just stays green..

It went red for a couple of seconds the 2nd time i went to charge it but it turned green after a few seconds. When i plug the battery into the charger it goes from a dim green to a bright green, and the LED lights 9 times.

when you screw in your battery to the atomiser does it start to smoke straight away without you sucking ? the only way the 901 could get THAT hot is if it was permantly stuck ON.

I had that problem with one of my batts for the 901

The weird think is it gets THAT hot and no smoke comes out whatsoever..

sucking or not, the only time i got some smoke to come out of it was a laughable amount after sucking for a good 10 seconds, which was the first time i tried it. Since then i havent seen any smoke at all.

seems like your batt is the problem then, the switch is stuck ON if it gets hot without you sucking.

If that's the case it won't have much vapour and get REALLY hot, too hot to hold. It will tase pretty disgusting too.

See if you can get a replacement battery.

I can definitely concur on the taste part... i have a taste in my mouth that has a distinct cat-piss tint to it lol

It was almost too hot to hold so i removed the battery... i was given another battery too so i am going to charge that one for 12 hours and see where it takes me.
