Yep, it works fine with a 901 atty. :thumb:

And just so there's no confusion, Glenn, this is the one I just tested:
Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: USB Passthru

But I would recommend the Mini Kit for only a few dollars more. It comes with a pack of 5 cartomizers, so you can try them too. I think You;ll like them a LOT more than a 901 atty: Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: Vapor King Mini Kit with USB Passthrough

Oh, thanks!
I need like 5 of em along with car chargers. any deals????

The manual has better reliability than the auto, longer-term, in general. (Although my original auto is still alive). The manuals are sealed, the autos aren't (due to the way the vacuum switch works). 5-5.5vDC from a wall unit will work at 1A as long as it _really_ is 1A and not 750mA with 1A scribbled on the back. In crayon. :)

Seriously, though, if it can really deliver 1A it's fine. I emphasize it because some don't, they're really 1A at thermal shutdown.

One more question I think.
Does the switch on this unit have that self cleaning feature?

[Twitch] - that's a sore one for me.

I'm not really ready to buy that there is any "self cleaning feature", but I should know beyond a doubt next week if all goes according to plan.

The switches have been known to stick or possibly bounce, so it's best to yoink the PT when not in use. That's just always good practice anyway for anything having hundreds of pounds of leverage at the end of a wire sticking out of a big square thing that wears a large "kick me" sign openly and pridefully. ;)
