911, I think I have a Problem

Hello people...yes people, another day, another thread. Too often in the vaping world do I hear and read such great and wonderful reviews on juices from this house and that house. I would like to share my experience with a juice that arrived yesterday by my faithful mailman.

The juice was PV4 from Prime vaping and my experience was not pleasant. I am sure that Prime vaping has some good juices, but this was not one of them. People seem to really like this juice and regard it as one of the better ry4s.

My first 2 primer puffs made me think I had something good on my hand, but then like a bat out of hell, reality started to appear. Each drag was exposing this awful odor and taste that became quite unbearable. The odor smelled like a bad incense from a Buddha Temple, and yes, I have been in one.

The taste was like a bad juice poured over a stripe bass...I truly thought I was imaging this but oh no, this was the real deal. I was almost at the point where I wanted to dial 911. There is no way a juice could taste this bad. I had to eat something to get this fowl taste out of my mouth.

I ate a Macintosh apple, I brushed my teeth and used Listerine mouthwash and the taste was still there. It was like an entity, I am being very serious folks...if this is a great ry4, then I will never purchase another ry4 as long as I vape.

I guarantee you that the crab juice from blue mist is better than this juice. Too many juices get too much praise, it's about time that we start hearing and reading the other side of the coin. Remember people, the money comes out of your pocket and goes into the pocket of the vendor. You want to praise a juice, I have no problem with that...you are entitled to your opinion. This is my opinion on this particular juice.

Since I am vaping I have had 5 juices that tasted like vomit, I do not know what a wet sock taste like or excrement, but I do know what vomit taste like and I am not afraid to name names.

Sweet-vapes Kona Cream
ECIG.COM Camel These 5 juices have entered my draw of shame and you know what...the pv4 was worst than these.

Please people, hold the snide remarks...these are my opinions and not yours...and I also know that taste is subjective. I think it is time that people came out and talked about some of these juices. You pay your hard earned money and you have the right to voice your opinion. Don't be shy!

I don't think I have much of a palate. I think you have a very sensitive palate. My sister is like that with odors. She can smell the oddest things wherever we go and I don't smell a thing.

Never tried any of the juices you're talking about. Off the bat I probably would like Kona cream or V4F because I don't care for cream or banana flavorings.

I usually stick to juices with one or two flavorings because I know I like them. Basic fruit with menthol, things like that. Maybe you'd like a less complicated juice because you seem to pick up to all of the notes in the flavoring.

i don't like the boba's either,,,

if you want a really bad juice try "sport guy" caramel,,i was given 100ml of the stuff,,tried to steep it and it stunk the house up so bad i had to throw the entire lot out,,no way was i going to pawn that garbage off on somebody else

I have ordered all my juice from Madvapes.com and have enjoyed all the flavors! It is true... some I like and others I love, but they have all found a spot in my rotation. (Lucky I suppose)! I enjoy reviews and determining if the general flavor profile seems like it is a match for me, and then I give it a try!

I think it is possible to get a batch that was not mixed properly, so maybe that happens to you FRANKSTER! Also, like food... not all flavor profiles will be a win for everyone! I suppose I like reading others experiences and make a purchase from there!

I got some juices from a can vendor here back in early december and most were awefull...I recently revisited them and what do you know,not so bad,not so bad at all in fact.
I'd buy more.

I don't know what all the hype is about RY4. I brought two types of RY4 juice from known vendors and I didn't like the taste at all. One was Alien Vision's Raf-(their version of RY4) and Vapor Room Ginger's RY4. I couldn't vape these at all.

However, Boba's Bounty I really like!..The taste to me is like honey/pipe/pepper like tobacco which I can deal with and vape with no problem. Go figure!

Hottody, I just got 3 different flavors from them, non are for me and I won't order again. Too bad you weren't closer.
50ml menthol
30ml minthol
30ml cinnabiscus

I have ordered a couple juice samples from PureSmoker that I liked and then when receiving the same in a larger size didn't like at all. I write it off as my tastes are changing and maybe I can trade them off some day.

I've tasted both wet socks and excrement, and boba's tastes nothing like them. All three could really clog a carto, but that's about the extent of the similarities...

I had to do an exorcism on that juice and after I did one, it went straight to the post office...not even superman could help that ry4.lol

Maybe your taste buds are not fully recovered yet. The first 3 months of vaping, i hate some of the 'hype' flavors. Give most of them to a friend, and I forgot a bottle, and it was sitting there on my drawer for 2 months before I found it. And out of curiousity, i tried it again and love it! It was Dekang Tobacco.

My initial reaction of PV4 was awful as well. I was really disappointed because of all the hype surrounding it, and I was really counting on it as a "go to" juice.

I called it quits on it and let it sit in my drawer for 2 weeks, right when my menthol juice at the time ran out. To my very pleasant surprise it tasted amazing, literally 10 times different than it did when I first got it.

My first vape of it tasted like vomit, and after that 2 week steep period it ended up tasting like a very strong caramel. I vape it at 5.3 volts on a boge 3ohm carto, with the juice specs being at 70/30 at 24mg.

I know plenty of people have said it in the past to you, but maybe let it steep for a while, it really worked for me (no bs)

Frankster, I really enjoy your tenacity. I am assuming that you really do want to find a superb juice that you can vape and that you do want to stay off of analogs. Taking this assumption in hand - you need to sit back and really think about your taste buds - is there anything palette wise that I really love in life - besides the taste of my analogs and then use that direction for your juices.

I know that you tried DIY and abandoned the effort, but if you can find that palatable flavor or flavors that will keep you satisfied or closely mimic keeping you satisfied - you should start there and then make variations of it - accent it so to speak. Some of your accent attempts will go in the wrong direction - some of mine did (uggghhhh), but I just got through it and tried something else. Remember never make the same mistake twice and learn from each success and failure.

I think that this is the only way you will ever be satisfied with the juices that you are vaping.

A few were so gross I just tossed them out. Steeping hasn't helped them. That's the only thing I hear when it is not good. Steep it. I'm getting discouraged. I did find one I like and then they are not the same taste in next order. One literally tastes like dirt. I garden and have accidentally had soil in my mouth and this one flavor is that exact taste. So I am stuck vaping with some liquid that I don't care for at the moment. I have 2 more orders due this week. If they are sickening sweet, chemical, dirt, or perfume, I don't know what I'll do. I can't keep wasting my money. Feel lucky if you enjoy your e liquid. Wish it were not such a challenge for me.

Sorry you are somehow offended or simply don't like hearing to "let it steep" , while it will not "always" work, it does often enough for most of us we recommend it , when something works for you that is what you will do (try to help others from your own experiences)

I am not offended. I'm glad for the forum. I have met some nice people here and have had good advice. I'm analog free, after 30 years up to 2 packs a day, since October. Trying to stay this way.

I also have found some great vendors as far as customer service goes and some good flavors. Just not my all day go to e-liquid and it is disappointing for me. If a particular vendor says let it steep..... I can't steep something that tastes exactly like dirt indefinitely. That is very discouraging as well.

I think most any juice would have fans. There are people who love juices that I ordered based on the number who raved about it,only to find that it was unvapable to me. We all have our own particular set of specs for what's good.
