I actually like that - idiots spitting it out on to the streets so that it attaches to your shoes, leaving it on seats, ruining your clothes, there are a lot of inconsiderate bar stewards out there.

There are a lot of inconsiderate drivers. Ban cars? Inconsiderate vapers. Ban vaping?

I'm amazed at that, considering the strict controls they have on where you cannot smoke, with hefty fines in place.
...that few if any pay any attention to and that are seldom enforced in my limited expewrience (although apparently when they do, its big trouble)..

The importation of e-cigarettes and supplies into Singapore has been illegal for quite some time now.

Yes, this is what I thought. Several years ago I was approached by my company to travel to Singapore. I knew they had strict laws on certain things like chewing gum, and according to my research, entering the country with e-cig stuff was not something you wanted to do. At best, it would all be confiscated. At worse, confiscation and fines (and probably lots of wasted time and paperwork).

I ended up not going. If I had, I would have probably risked it with a very cheap mod and spare juice (along with my best "I didn't know?" face) just in case.

I once finished a whole pint of scotch on the steps of the Singapore Hard Rock Cafe. I had picked it up for my room and went to the Hard Rock to get something to eat and a tea shirt for a gal at work who collected them. At that time (late 90s) you were still allowed to smoke indoors, don't know when the laws changed. On exiting, the stone steps were slippery and worn and down I went on my backpack. I smelled like scotch without the effects.
