I have been vaping for about one month now and I seem to be having a new benefit from vaping. I have been able to cut back on my allergy pills.
Now, I am a borderline allergy person. I get the runny nose and a little redness in the eyes (not much). I always have to take my 12 hour allergy medicine at night to be able to get through the night, sometimes during the day also, but not much and I use drops in my eyes about twice a day.
I had not noticed in the beginning, but after vaping for about two weeks - when I woke up in the morning I was dry as a bone - to the hurting level. I assumed I was not getting enough water so I increased my levels each day, but it continued. Now that I was paying attention to it - I started noticing that my nose was not having its normal allergy running experience - it was dry all day. So for the last two weeks I have not had to take my allergy medicine and I am doing fine - still need the eye drops, but not the antihistamine stuff. Good news for me.
I guess the drying effect from the PG is doing the antihistamine work and I am not fighting it...
Not to say it will work for everyone, but I figure it is working for me because I am not a hard core allergy person... Just one that has had a slight annoyance with it for a few years. Anybody else had this experience?
