This is my first post on ECF but I've been stalking these forums since the beginning of March. That's around the time I kicked analogs to the curb after 26 years of smoking & haven't looked back since. I started with disposables, went to Egos, Spinners & now own 3 different VW mods. I've also recently started making my own juice (tasted awful at first but pretty tasty now that I've got the hang of it..LOL). My clothes & car don't stink, I feel like a million bucks, I've saved a ....-ton of $, & best of all my family is happy as can be that Dad isn't smoking anymore. Although I've replaced one habit with another, I'll gladly take my chances with my new one as opposed to the old one.

When I first looked into vaping seriously, I was shellshocked at all the different products available & terms being used. Then I stumbled onto this site & began to see through the fog. This is why I want to say THANK YOU to all the experienced vapers who have shared their wealth of information on these forums. It has helped guide myself & many others to make somewhat educated decisions on which direction to go in. Much appreciated!

Making your own juice is sooooo much easier than you might think it is. I kept putting it off thinking I didn't know what the hell I was doing (which was correct!) but I got the hang of it really quickly. Just start with very small batches until you figure out what you like. There are numerous e-liquid calculators that basically do the heavy lifting for you. Plus the fact that making your own costs a fraction of the price as buying it from someone.
