So, the body acts as the negative wire to your carto connector? I was thinking of a similar setup but wasn't sure if it would work as intended or shock me lol
Just a quick update. After a year or two the bottom cap will need replacement. Steel is harder than the copper so the hole in the cap tends to grow. This eventually provides a consequential inefficiency in grounding.

Ok so couldn't two "tube mods be put together by soldering the caps together. Using the second tube as a battery compartment isolating the + with a rubber or plastic washer and making a parallel circuit by running a wire from one +(spare tube) to the + pole machine screw. Then still using the second tube and "bottom" cap to make the - connection to the main tube? Same mechanical switch just solder caps together also could a 510 connection be soldered to the cap? Im gonna try this soon I just figure 2 batts longer vaping between charges
Copper is a very nice... Beautiful work, crazyhorze! I like copper, wood, leather at all etc... Something ancient 
Ok crazy can this be a stable 5 volt double barrel mechanical switch mod? Stable meaning will it work or just fry cartos and attys?
Nice mod, I like these metal (copper brass or stainless) mods. Wish I had the tools and time here in Japan to do a little smithing on a mod boohoo for me. Well done on yours though
