Instead of doing a another status review about a product that everyone that has spent any length of time in the vaping community has seen, read about or own, (Provari, Liquinator and such which I own). I thought I would write a brief review based on a very positive experience with this particular vender of mall brand e-cigs. I had the privilege of exchanging e-mails with Cary Lee of A Clean Cigarette, and one thing that must be said is, contrary to many other venders that I have worked with who cannot answer e-mails under the pretense of being so busy, Cary on the other hand responded the same day, and in most cases within the hour.
I can be fairly impatient and not by any means an easy customer, yet Carys e-mails answered all my questions without beating around the bush and displayed genuine enthusiasm and pride in the products he carries, the e-mails I received never seemed hurried or short, and had a nostalgic quality of good old-fashioned customer care.
A Clean Cigarette focuses on the traditional cigarette size products using 4081 threading, the overall style and function are very much utilitarian, because they just plain work, this same theme is carried across to the website; if you are looking for fancy animated vapor emanating from every icon, you will not find it here, but despite the bare-bones appearance of the website they put the effort in where it counts.
Side note: If you spend all your business capitol on creating a website that draws customers in and then cant afford to hire an extra hand to help answer a few e-mails, well then I have no use for all your fancy web gadgets end of rant.
A Clean Cigarette is quite the opposite, as I have said the website is unremarkable, but customer service was unprecedented. As to the devices they sell, they just plain work, battery life is not great, about half a day, for a heavy vaper maybe less. To quantify this a bit better, I run down an 1100 mah battery in a little over a day.
Evaluating a product is all about what you want to use it for, this product fits into the category for me, of being exceptionally suited for driving, going out to the pub, the church parking lot, or travel (you try getting your huge battery mod past the TSA, thats a recipe for a cavity search). I have used it extensively at church, people have come up to me saying, I thought you were chewing on the end of a pen, until I saw the plume of smoke. This was not during church, just so that I am clear. For these purposes it works without fail. It would also work as an all day device for a light smoker, for heaver use I would suggest an extra battery or two if this is going to be your main device.
Where A Clean Cigarette really excels is the flavors, these come in the form of prefilled cartomizers; to qualify the statement I am about to make, I have tried the all Organic, no artificial flavors, no added sweetener, gourmet e-liquids that are out there, and I have not found a vanilla, menthol, coffee, or clove that has matched A Clean Cigarette. That is not to say I love all A Clean Cigarette flavors, I did find that the fruit flavors tasted a bit artificial, that said, when a mall brand can rival the flavors of the boutique brands, that is something to take notice of. That said, they do not sell just the e-liquid by its self as of yet, just prefilled cartomizers. This is great for the no fuss vaper; for me, I like to refill, but like I said, the flavors are great.
If youre looking for great customer service, a nice little stealth e-cigarette, and great flavor give A Clean Cigarette, a try.
