So I recently ordered my first rda, a mutation x v3 from kidney puncher in copper. I went with the mx because I read the deck is easy to build and learn on and I went with copper because I think it's a great color. But I was unaware of the concern in the community from using copper rda's/drip tips. Have any tests been done yet to determine how detrimental it is for you health if at all? Heavy metal poisoning is the last thing I need.

Chipotle.
A good percentage of household drinking water still runs through copper piping...been using copper RDA's for over a year without any issues whatsoever.

Generally speaking the people who will tell you something is bad will be unable to tell you specifically why they think it is, mostly this is because they heard the information second hand without verifying it themselves and just pass it along as gospel when the reality is their justification is just that "it is because I heard it was".

Thanks guys for putting my mind at ease a bit. My main concern came from an old thread here were the copper was flaking off into the juice well and turning the cotton green. But the copper rda would just look so nice sitting on my black sigelei zmax haha.

Do I need to treat the copper barrel or top cap any differently to maintain them? I've never dealt with copper before.
