A couple of quick ?'s

So i have this dumb 800 mh battery I usually put on my phone charger, and I got one of those ipod chargers, "small white box with the usb plug in" and i was like oh cool, let me try to charge my batt with this..

and thats when my battery died, or my cartomizer, or whatnot.

the question is .. Is it possible to short circuit the battery if you use a different type of charger ? because it's been working fine until I stuck it through my apple ipod usb charger,
and is it possible that zero percent nicotine on Vision Egos tend to burn the wick much faster ? Die out the egos ?

I'm on my x-tra low nic, to zero nic now, and I was wondering but no worries my friend will be here soon so I can check to see if it was my battery that really died out, or just my Vision ego. hopefully the latter, cus if my batt died out then I guess I'm going to have to buy a new batt from Anneeeeeee

O yea and My vision ego has a bad case of leaking, does this mean I need to get a new one ? I've had mine for about a month now, I cleaned it about 3-4 times already, with water, and dry burn, and how long do they actually last like a good month ?

And iPod charger could easily do that. With ecigs, stick to the charger you got or a charger that has the exact same voltages. Many people in this day and age think all chargers are created equal and if it fits the connection, it will either work or not work but won't do damage. Not true. While low voltages may result in a slower "trickle charge", high volts can destroy your hardware. Order an official charger, or buy an Ego twist from Annettte which comes with one (I think it does anyways).

So yeah my batt completely went apecrazy I guess, but you know what's weird, when I first hooked it up to my ipod charger (the little white box) via my usb cord, my battery was hitting like a fog machine, I was trippin out like wow it was hitting real good.

I vaped continuously for about 15 minutes or so (with my VISION EGO), but I also noticed that when I first plugged it in, the battery acted funny, like it didn't hit the first two breaths, then it started hitting, then after 15 minutes of hitting it, I left it to charge and went to watch Sons of Anarchy, then when the episodes done, I went back to my battery, and it wasn't hitting at all.

So I took out my Vision EGO, and screwed in my Boge LR cartomizer, and it was working once or twice, but since the boge was really old I just gave up. So I left it to charge again overnight thinking the next morning I would be able to hit it again, and next morning came and Nope. Niet. Nien.

So I called my friend, he has the 1100 Mh battery from Anne, and I asked him hey come over so I can put my Vision Ego in your battery and see if my battery died out, or just my Vision Ego, so he came, and I put my Vision Ego on his 1100 mh battery, and Nope. It wasn't working at all...

So all in all, I'm on an empty stomach right now with nothing
But it's all gravy baby, I'm on Virginvapor.com right now, stocking up on my shopping cart with some crazy deals Annette has with her 1100 mh Bat halloween special battery for only $13.99 OMG ANNE TALK ABOUT A STEAL, this is more like robbery in a bank with explosives planted on the backdoor for a quick exit.

I want to try the Vivi, but I think I'm fine with my Vision Ego.

Oh and another question I have,.... Since Anne's Zero- Xtra Low nicotine juices is real watery, is there a special cartomizer I can get Anne that is non-leaky, because the Vision Ego has leaking problems with your X-tra low nicotine juices, I was just wondering if there's a special cartomizer I should get since I'm dropping my nicotine by alot, which means my juices are not as thick anymore.

I think Annette could prolly thicken the liquid up for you, although I have no xp with 0 nic so am unsure. I know thinning is a simple task. Maybe she could use less thinner on your order. Just write it in the comment area. What ratio PG/VG are you using?

If you have the money, consider the EGO Twist for sale by Annette. You will NEVER go back to regular batteries. I think it's just a few dollars more.

The Vision Ego's I have found to be leaky, floody horrible things. Part of your problems could also be the Ego flooding onto the battery and thus preventing the contacts from touching. "Igniting" if you will. That has happend me many many times when I used it. Some people love them but for me they were more hassle than pleasure. A quicky fix is to blow through the end with a paper towel on the other end.

That charger is the one I use with my twist. If you can, get the wall adapter. Wall Plug for USB Battery Charger | Virgin Vapor | Electronic Cigarette Organic e-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes

Your first preference is always gonna be a plug outlet. It will charge faster and have very minimal issues.
Your second choice is to charge it on a computer via USB. This can iffy and buggy, depending on the system and the device. My ego Twist no longer achieves full green charge on my computer. It charges halfway then cuts off. No idea why. My wall outlet will charge it completely though.

Now, charging with USB on anything else that is not a PC/Laptop is even more iffy. It may not get enough power. Or it may get none. Or it may get too much. The technology is still kinda quirky. Stick to wall outlet and computer as your two if possible.

No what I meant was using the white box ipod charger, then connect the USB battery charger from Anne to the white ipod box charger, because I was going to get the wall plug, but I want a Vivi and if this works out, I get a brand new Vivi instead of the vision ego, cus yeah I am tired of that flooding but I'm so used to it screwing and unscrewing the Vision, taking my cloth wiping the little .... and putting my Vision back in.
and ok I'll tell Anne to thicken up my juices hehehehe

You're talking about this right? You're using it to sub for an outlet charger.

Is the output on it 5 volts? Make sure everything matches up. As I say, no two chargers are the same. If your other device died I would avoid. For now, charge it on your PC.

Yeah that lines up with the official ones. It could be a bad or dying battery even idk. For now, just use a lappy or PC and when you get the outlet back use that. You're cleaning with alcohol everytime you charge, right? It's annoying but it has to be done especially with a leaky device.

The reason is because if it fails then you can rule out the charging equipment as the culprit.

No I don't clean it with anything, I just charge it right up that's why there's alot of gunk building up on the usb wall plug charger but I just scrape it off with a metalpick.
So What I did was I told my friend to give me back my wall plug and my usb charger that came with my Kgo starter kit I got a while while back, (and by the way, those two kgo batteries died out within a year) just thought I'd let u guys know

I'm just really excited to get my first ever Vivi, hooked up to the crazy cheap 1100 mh Bat battery for $13.99..

I have this store a couple of blocks away from me called Never Light Again, and they charge their Vision Egos cartomizer for $14.
and their 1/8 of ounce of juice for $8 each. This guy cashed out $130 on his order of a really nice looking (it had buttons in it) e-cig, and a couple of bottles of NLA bottles and I was about to give him Virginvapor.com addy on a business card ... (huh Anne ? huh!!! we can be a part of your street team if you can send me a stack of your business cards along with my order .. huh Anne ?!? )

I use Q-tips, with rubbing alcohol to clean. I don't do it every single time as I should, but every 2-3 charges. And that is without leaking devices. The gunk and scraping of the battery could be what killed it also. Who knows? It's a mystery that spurred you to join the 1100 MA club. Enjoy having your battery last you all day rather than half the day.

The Vivi is great. It is a big graduation from the Vision Ego. You will love it.
