My connection, while not loose, doesn't sit all the way in compared to other rechargable devices I own. If I press down on it at the connection, it does blank out. I haven't tried to use the VVpV as a passthru, so I'm not sure how that would work out. The device has to to be on to charge it, and as Mark says, green light on the charger when done, red light always on the VVpV.

Side Note: I found out the hard way that if you have a bad batt, the VVpV can't charge (because it can't complete the circuit). By charging the batts separately in a stand alone charger like the TR-001, it's easy to see which one isn't charging.

How do you know when it's fully charged?

My charger cable really needs to be tinkered with to make contact in the connection(it's very loose), anyone else have this issue?

I have the same problem. I love my VVPV, but the charger makes it seem unfinished and fragile. So far it's working and charging OK, but I wish they would fix the loose fittings.
Not always but some times I have to wiggle the stem to get the light on the charger to turn red. Some times it will turn green after only a minute on the charger and I have to wiggle it again then everything is all right.

So what you're getting is just bypass mode, which strictly gives you the power off the charger (limited max power).

You do have the switch in the left position, towards the bottle compartment?

Bad battery else a spring issue (the outer spring needs a tighter radius than the inner, to get good contact on the battery nipple), since the PV works in PT mode. Very fixable, though likely have to send it in to get the screws out, if they're stripped.

Yes I will have to return it. My Buzz Pro went back Friday now this will have to go tomorrow. Two screws came out no problem, the other two look like they were over tightened because the case is creased a bit where they are and the heads are stripped.

Bad news Vern. I had the same problem but was able to remove the screws with a tiny jeweler's flat head screwdriver and just had some replacement screws sent out to me. You might be able to get them out like that, the wait time on the RMA hurts.

My friend did a similar thing on my fishing reel, it was a small phillips head screw that I stripped. I tried everything on it, nothing worked, and he got it out like it was nothing with the same screw driver I had been using. But unlike him I'm not well versed in electronics

Vermonster: Sounds like your having the same issue with your VVPV that me and Kempo had (VVPV Design and Talk Part 2 thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/notcigs/293334-vvpv-design-talk-part-2-a-26.html), a bad battery within the first few weeks of use.
