Holy cow! Is it thick juice or does it gunk up the cartos? I diy, and I mix my PG and VG in smaller bottles to make it more manageable. I use a 50/50 base, PG nic, so I would guess by the time I get done, I'm about 70PG/30VG juice. My cartos' worst enemy has been caramel so I've had to change my favorite recipe around a bit to keep it from killing my cartos in a couple of days.

Actually both. Gorilla juice (and Boba's Bounty) are nicknamed The Carto Killer for a reason! :) Not only is it 100% VG but it's got to be the thickest 100% VG juice that I've ever tried. It reminds me of the cheaper watery brands of maple syrup. If you flip the bottle upside down the bulk of the juice does fall down of course but it just coats the inside of the bottle and very slowly runs down the sides. When I got a sample bottle the first time it took literally almost 20 minutes to get 25 drops to soak into a Boge carto.

OK, one last question - What are the best (as in longest lasting) replacement batteries for the VVPV? I'm really hoping that my batteries just need to break in or something, but I've been killing them in about 2 hours vaping at right below the red setting (which I know is very high and might be the normal run time at that high setting), but what concerns me is that when I put the VVPV on the charger after it's completely dead (using the cable of course, not taking the batteries out) it only takes about 20-25 minutes to be fully charged again which is at least twice as fast as I've read about for the VVPV.

I'll bet one of those batteries is a bad one. Trustfires are good batts for the most part, but I've had a few bad ones along the way. It happens. -- And, their 900 mah rating is not accurate according to reviews on candlepower. Of all of the xxxFires, the trustfire flame is the best.

After about 35 charge cycles, my battery life dropped off somewhat. I decided to spend a little money on AW ICR 14500s. I've been very pleased with them. I run a 2.0 ohm hh.357 @ ~4.6v and I can consume the entire 5ml bottle plus a little in between charges. I will mention that you will have to squeeze the last loop in the spring farthest away from the bottle enough so that the nipple doesn't fit inside that last loop. I used a needle-nosed plier and it is easy.

Thanks! It's also great to finally be able to vape that 100ml bottle of Gorilla Juice that would never work in my cartos! :p

GJ and BH are sooo good in a HH.357, PG! All of the people at work keep staring at me cause I'm saying Nom,Nom,Nom all night!

I have an HH.357 longbarrel on the way! :) Have you ever tried an AVA atomizer? That's what I'm using now and I wonder how they compare?

I can sure +1 that. My VVPV and the hh.357 on it has only consumed AVE 555 - but I have a couple of other hh.357s. One is for Bobas. Delicious.

OK, which of the 2 would you go with then? It looks like the link you posted are 750mAh and the Trustfire Flames are 900mAh...

No, sorry, haven't tried one yet so I can't give you a comparison. Better be good for almost 50 bones, though...

I have an AVA. My experience with it isn't as good as some of the reviews and quite a few of the comments I've read around the forums. I like the hh.357 way better. In fact, I'd take an i06 or an hh.357 over the AVA any time.

I think when they make a rev.2 of the AVA, it may be the best thing since sliced bread. It's a unique design and they have it sooooo close to right. They need to add some SS mesh or something below the coil... I'm not really sure exactly what they need to do, but mine doesn't wick juice to the coil as well as it should. I'll get three or four or sometimes five really nice flavorful drags, and then a bad one or two. Rinse, repeat.

When you get your hh.357, don't be surprised if it takes 1-2 days to fully break in. All of the hh.357s I have running right now took 5-7ml to really start cranking out the vapor. Also, remember to keep it wet. When I prime an hh.357 (new or after cleaning), I prime with 10-12 drops. On my VVPV, I prime with 10 drops and then give it 2 pumps after the first drag or two. Keeping it wet after that is just 2 pumps every so often. I swear it's like the VVPV and hh.357 were made for each other.

Excellent! I can't wait to compare them! :)

the Trustfire Flames have an over-stated mah rating. According to reviews on candlepower, they actually come in between 680-710 mah. That is not unusual for battery manufacturers to overstate the mah rating... The grey ultrafire 14500s, for instance, are also rated at 900 mah but are actually closer to 650. The reviews I've read indicate that the AW ICRs are actually a little bit under-stated. They come in closer to 780 mah.

The price difference is substantial, though. You can own almost three pairs of trustfire flames for the price of one pair of AW ICRs. I spent pretty close to nine bucks each on the AWs - and I've found a few places that sell trustfire flames for seven bucks a pair.

As to which I would go with - I'm running the AWs. I've been running them for two and a half months. In another two or three months, I'll buy a back-up set and maybe a set for the freezer.

Thanks again! Just ordered a pair of the AW's.

REALLY need to get my multimeter out of the box in the garage, but definitely must be a bad battery. I just timed it and I went from completely dead to fully charged in 16 minutes. I also wonder if that's why I usually vape 3ohm at about 4.5v but on the VVPV I have to put it all of the way up at the red setting to start getting good vape & flavor? Damn, I hope those batteries ship quickly! :(
