hi i recently bought an ego twist 1000mah and was wondering if anyone know if you have to increase it in increments of 2 or can you go inbetween numbers? also when you click the button five times to lock it, do you notice it turns itself back on like a minute later? mine does and i was curious if it was a flaw or something....and it was from cignot so def genuine joyetech fyi

I have a couple 1300 Spinners, and the dial is for setting the output voltage, the electrical "juice" that vaporizes the juice.

The charging voltage is totally separate. The battery dial setting has noting to do with that, it's controlled by the charger. So you can leave the dial alone, at it's latest setting, when you charge. you're making it too complex. :+)

Regarding a light after shutting it down - I haven't seen that on the Spinners, but they could be made differently (or not), so its not a valid example for your Twist.

If it lights up after you press the button when you've shut it off then you didn't actually shut it off .
The 5 clicks need to be done fairly quick . If you've done it right and press the button nothing should happen .

Agreed. Do the 5 clicks, it should flash 3 times and be off. Then press the button like you're going to fire it and it should do nothing (no light). Click 5 times again and it will flash a few times and be on. If you turn it off, check to verify, wait a few minutes and it turns itself back on, it's not working correctly and you should trade it out for another. The point behind being able to turn it off is so it won't accidentally fire in your pocket, purse, whatever and if it turns itself back on, that pretty much defeats that function.

looks like your questions have been addressed.
Some consider eGo's to be disposable and/or a beginners set up because of the pricepoint and basic function. I have several higher end batteries but as long as they make the Twist I will still buy them. I have 6 of them and love them on the go and moving around the house..
I lend them out occaisionally to smokers that I would like to see quit as well. They are awesome.
