Just a preliminary result so far, I wont go into the tech aspects, Morandir covered that quite well, I'll try and focus more on actuall daily usage.
First and foremost, let's get my prejudices out of the way! I LOVE the form factor of the EGO style batteries, which this falls under, but I've tired of the "disposable factor" of so many things e-cig. So with that said, let's carry on!
First, some size comparison pics, deal with my stupid smart phone, sorry!

Bottom to top, should be left to right, but that didn't work out! Titan, Provari mini, DAV auto, Lava tube clone and the V4L WOWvapor (650mah EGO)
It's a bit longer than I expected, not terrible, but more than I was expecting. It's also very light, almost too light. I know this sounds counter-intuitive to many, but it really weighs about the same as a Titan battery, and feels less than the WOWvapor to me! It's kind of odd having something so large, that weighs so little. It makes you wonder if they could make it a bit shorter then you could hold it in your mouth and use it, but as it is, it's just too long to try and hold it with your lips, as you can with a Titan battery.
Now, mind you, I understand this isn't the same market, so I don't and didn't expect to be able to hold it with my lips and vape!
As I've read in other posts, it is an airy, easy draw, a bit too airy for me, but it fires easy with little effort and I think most users will like this.
I first tried it with a tank and a 1.7ohm dual coil in a tank, it wouldn't fire, the light went on, but no vapor. Played with it some, but never got it to work with the tank setup. I'll play with that some more later, I was more interested in run times today.
So with the tank fail, I really wanted to play with this thing! I dug and blew off the dust on some 808 Mega size carto's I had stashed away. Filled one up and got the settings right. This was a 2ohm single coil and I had the dial between the 3.7 and 4.2v, so around 4v on the dial, probably closer to 3.7v according to Mr Morandir's finding's. It was a VERY nice vape!
I started on this at noon, my time, and refilled the carto twice before I noticed a lack of vapor at 7:30pm. Not bad at all for battery life.
Don't put much stock in the problem with the carto tank, I'll play with that some more, but I'm pretty certain that was on my end, not the DAV.
I also noticed, as mentioned in other posts, the short cut off time. I timed it several times through out the day, each time I came right at 3.6 seconds on the cut off. It's easy to defeat this, take a drag, stop and drag again, but a longer cutoff would be much appreciated!
For my thoughts so far, well, I'm mixed. It's an idea I like in theory, I always thought an auto mod would appeal to a lot of people, and very well may. But as it's too large to hold with your lips, and you have to have a hand holding it anyway, it's kind of defeatist. I guess that's why I've always been such a fan of the shorty batteries, I can lip them, carry on working without a care and be satisfied. Until I dropped one!
For people that like the auto style batteries but want more run time, I don't think you will find anything better. Really, it's as simple as it gets! I still need to do some tests on the skid steer, this is where most auto's failed for me, the noise/vibration would make them kick in constantly and deplete the battery! I hope that has been fixed on this, but I intend to find out!
Would I buy another one, right now, probably not. The cut off is too short, and taking multiple drags tends to heat the juice up and make it distasteful for me. I also don't care much for the airy feeling of it. Both of these are personal and subjective, many people love the airy drag and, honestly, if I took a "primer puff" then a decent drag I got a good draw off of it. It was only when I was really paying attention that I noticed it wasn't all I wanted it to be.
I'll play with it some more and update as I go. Feel free to ask any questions, I'll answer as best I can.

Hey, I'm not the only one? I'm getting around 4 seconds most of the time, my cartos read 1.6-1.7 if I test them on my Provari Mini. One of them started reading up to 7 seconds though on another carto the next day.

I hadn't felt the need at all to take a primer puff, and as a hard-core chainvaper, don't have any problem with the juice tasting off.

Hey Saw, you know the best thing about the Auto DAVs?
Nobody is going to ask you to come up with a collar to hide the threads... tanks fit flush, no outer threads.

I've got some "cool carts" I need to dig out and try next and see how it does. But yes, try as I might, it was 3.6 seconds almost every time!
I wasn't running a tank, Katz, just a mega carto, I'm sure in a tank I wouldn't have the heat from multiple drags, hopefully I'll get a tank running on it the next few days. Been busy around here!
And yes, no collar threads, it makes for a nice clean look for sure! That's something else that really impressed me!

Like I said, I'm swamped right now! My wife was flown off to London with little to no notice, I'm trying to crank out some CAD work for someone else and I'm playing Dad and Mom this week for my son!
I'll try and play with it some more this week, when time permits. I will also say it seems to take forever to charge up! I put it on at noonish today, it's 6pmish now and it's still charging! It showed a full charge when I started, maybe the battery will last a bit longer after the second charging? Is this about what you are seeing with charge times?

OK, it was charged, the lights didn't flash like I was used to, so I can't give an honest opinion on charge time, sorry, my bad! Dug out another carto and filled the tank back up and it's working like a champ! Like I said, something was fishy with that carto, so don't put any faith into the previous post!

Just got my auto DAV and smileoizer a couple of days ago. I like it but i don't love it. I will do a more accurate job of testing today but yesterday it seemed it only lasted for about 5 hours and it does take a long time to charge. I need to use it on the highest volt to get the hit I want. Kind of defeats the purpose of having several volt options. As for the smileomizer I would much prefer a smaller tip. The big round rubber tip is clunky and feels weird. I would rather have a narrow cigar style tip.
