Been vaping about 1.5 years now, mostly my own concoction of Chinese juices. I generally mix 3-5 juices to get what I want, then stick with just a few blends to get me through. I spent a few months experimenting with Lorann flavors (in existing flavored juice) and gave up, but kept a few useful flavors way in the back of the cupboard.
It looked like the world of custom juice was advancing, as you would expect, so starting a month ago or so I tried a few.
I'm sticking with Don and here's some of why.
Base stock - very nice ... clean, pure, consistent flavor to flavor.
Mixology (?) - Even with the consistent base stock, the flavors all have their own personality. The blend is thorough and creates a new entity, not just flavor on top of base. To beat a dead cliche, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.
Rich is rich and light is light - Huh? What I mean is that if, say, a person tried Virginia and 555, they might think Don's juice is on the light side. If someone tried Caramel Cappuccino and Espresso, they might think it on the rich side. Truth is, he does what's necessary to get the desired end result, but somehow maintaining a family resemblance amongst all.
A personal example of the base stock goodness. I thought the Virginia too light for my tastes (I don't much care for salmon, but will devour a good trout, so personal taste is personal taste) and was going to use it as a mixer. Then I remembered the Lorann cranberry I had stashed away. I like the cranberry as a light, clean fruit/sweet flavor. I just kissed some Virginia with it and it was wonderful. I'll be working up a home mix based on this.
Point is, it took the flavor so well, creating something new and useful. As to the BWB flavors, my personal favs so far are Applewood Tobacco, Cherry Tobacco, Espresso and Malty Toffee. I've got some RY4 on order. If I had to pick one, I'd probably go with Cherry Tobacco, but luckily I don't have to lol.
Oh, I vape BE112 attys exclusively, @5V, and although I usually use cartridges (Kristen's PTB technique) I've been dripping Don's. I have 5 devices so it's easy to keep several loaded up.
