Hello fellow Reonauts! I got my first Reo about three weeks ago and thought I'd share some of the things I have learned along the way.

Make sure your battery is flush with the upper deck
It is commonly recommended that one take some electrical tape to go once around your battery to make a tab for easy removal and to ensure that the Reo's door is snug with no rattle from a loose battery. This works as advertised, but it is possible that the tape will cause your battery to be so snug that it doesn't move freely to make a good, flush contact with the Reo's upper deck. If you find yourself getting an inconsistent vape, and you feel you are having to depress the firing button too far down, chances are your battery isn't properly seated. You can still use the tape trick, just make sure your battery is properly seated.

Make sure your coil is off the well
The mounting holes for your coil on the RM2 are pretty close to the ceramic well on the RM2. Make sure your coil is positioned high enough so that juice can't fill the gap between the coil and the well base. If your coil is sitting in a big ol' puddle of juice, it won't vape worth a damn. Give it some space!

Don't over-tighten your juice bottle
You want to tighten your juice bottle just so... It is easy to overtighten your bottle and push the o-ring up into the cap. If you are having trouble getting a good squonk, your first reaction very well may be to tighten the bottle. This just makes the problem worse. I've found that the bottle performs best when I just ever so gently tighten it. Trust the o-ring and let it do its work.

Consider giving your feed tube an angular cut
The flat cut on the feed tube can form a seal with the bottom of your bottle. A ever-so-slight angled cut will prevent this from happening. Just be careful and don't overdo it. The key word here is slight.

Give your Reo a bath
Juice on your 510 connector can interfere with a good electrical connection. Swab out your connector when refilling and give your Reo a good bath in the sink once a week or so. You'll get a better vape.

Keep your contacts clean
The new Sub-Ohm contacts are great, but they can still get dirty. Give them a scrub with a Q-tip dipped in alcohol when your are re-filling your bottle. Clean contacts make for a good vape.

All of these are probably covered elsewhere, but I thought I'd pass along the "gotchas" I've encountered as a new Reo owner. Vape on! :vapor:

I use a narrow piece of ribbon, that way, there's no residue and I use the same one for every battery, just swap it along with the battery when you put a fresh one in.

That is a fantastic idea. I will have to try this.

I use the tape trick more for the snug door factor than ease of battery removal. I often vape left handed and find with the door against my palm, it is too easy to move the door if it isn't nice and snug.
