Okay all. Hello. I have a few questions that I hope some of you can answer for me. I have basically guaranteed myself that I want a Buzz and have done a bit of research. I know that Buzzkill is awesome with his CS and builds an awesome product. I just wondered a few things.

How long has your Buzz survived without a serious problem and was that problem hard to fix?

Anyone know what the Buzz Pro KIT will cost? Is that the $140 one on the site, or is that the Buzz Pro only (No batteries/charger)?

Is the Buzz your favorite mod?

How long have your batteries lasted (not in charges, but how many months before replacing)?

Any problems with the button going out?

Sorry if I ask a lot, I am just curious, because I have absolutely zero experience with mods (only used an eGO and a Blu before that....don't ask, it sucked hard). Feel free to answer any other questions you think would have been smart of me to include (since I am not that smart).

Well as the Buzz Pro Retail isn't out yet I can't comment too much on it but the Buzz has posts on Notcig where it fell 25 ft. and hitting so hard it blew both batteries and the Buzz survived. It's fallen off a Harley at 60mph skidding down the highway and survived. I've had my Buzz around 15 months and it has never missed a beat and it is pretty scratched up from drops etc. I have the original batteries it came with plus some others so I can't say how long a set would last. The button has never failed but it is rated at a million cycles so it would take some time.
The $140.00 one is the Buzz pro and it is going to be a sweetheart for sure. I'm not sure but I think batteries and charger might come with that but Mike would have to say for sure. I can say this. I have been testing a beta and it is the sweetest PV I've ever used and I've used a bunch.
On the Beta I get anywhere from 9 hrs. to 20 hrs. vaping, it just depends on what I'm using on it.
Just because you don't know don't mean your not smart.

I can answer the price part $139 for the unit + $20 for batts and a charger so $160 for a kit basically ( our cost went up making this Pro model and it is reflected in the price sorry ! )

The batteries I sell are rated for 300 charge cycles min. I have some that are around a year old and still work .
We have had very few button problems when we do it is JUICE inside the switch 90% of the time . we are working on a better seal for them maybe like an acrylic coating to seal them better .

I love my Buzz! Bought it in the fall (Aug? Sept?) last year. I have had to send it back to Mike twice for the issue of it coming on by itself and not cutting off. Mike's customer service was great, and both times got it back out to me very quickly. And if I had known an alcohol bath probably would have fixed it, I probably would not have had to send it to Mike. Also, from what I understand, he has fixed that problem by sealing the PCB in the newer models. It is a rugged mod! In fact I dropped mine today onto a tile floor... broke my drip tip :( and bent my carto, but the Buzz didn't miss a beat:laugh: I think the improvements on the Buzz Pro will just make a great mod even better!!

Hey Psycho. I bought mine early last December and haven't had an issue. I even took it apart and did this to it:
100_0743.jpg

(covered it in wood veneer)
I was careful to keep glue, dust and finish out of it but I was worried that I might screw it up just the same but I didn't. :)
I wish you lived closer. If you could come to my BBQ I'd let you try it. It's an awesome PV. Can't wait to get my Pro.

I only keep track of the time I put charged batteries into my Buzz and then when they die.
I get anywhere from 24-36hrs usually and I rotate the batteries I use. Flame Trustfire -AW ICR - Silver Ultrafire.
This is for the original Buzz - the Buzz Pro will be better than this.

This is the only Mod I use, so it is used continually except for the 6 hours I sleep. I'm retired so I have plenty of time to vape as well. My Buzz is very dependable. I got mine in January and except for the time when juice somehow got into the PCB area, it has worked perfectly. You know about the alcohol bath, so if you have a problem with it firing up on it's own, just dunk the Buzz(top cap end) into 90% alcohol and cover all the way up over the button and leave it overnight. After it's dry, the Buzz is back to 100% operations again. When the juice got under my top cap, I had never seen any juice on the top cap, so how it got into it I am still puzzled about. At least now I know how to handle it. The alcohol bath is a great preventative maintenance tool.
You look at the price of Mods floating around - compare all their pros and cons - look at the purchase price - check the customer service for "after the sale" treatment - and Notcigs is an easy pick for me.

You will be very satisfied and will enjoy your vaping experience much more when you use the Buzz.
Since I am completely satisfied with my Buzz, there was no need for anything else for me.
With the addition of the Buzz Pro - it just changed my "best" to my "bestest".
Go figure...

Thanks for answering my questions guys!
@Buzzkill: Don't worry about the price. Sometimes quality and craftsmanship costs a little extra :D

@Mistinthewoods: Now that is beautiful! I will certainly come, if I can!

@Rosco: Glad to hear it! My 1,000 MAH eGo only lasts me about 6-8 hours (depending on how hard I am hitting it). And yeah, Notcigs does seem to have some of the best customer service around.

Okay all, I got another question I have been researching, but a lot of people are lighter vapers than me, so that kinda excludes them (sorry, lol).

This one is for a HEAVY vapor (like non-stop, cause that is me). How long does your Buzz/Infinity last per charge of non-stop vaping?

This top question will help me decide whether or not to grab a Buzz (one of the last ones on the site, I guess?) or a Buzz Pro (probly the Pro...).

Here are the times I got on the technology that is inside the Buzz and if you check this thread you will find my and others times on the Beta listed.
BTW I consider myself to be an average vaper but not heavy.

Started at 3.64 volts with a 2.0 Ohm Carto.

02/25/2011 Start 3:30PM
Stop 10:30PM......= 07.00 hrs.
02/26/2011 Start 8:30AM
Finished 8:30PM...= 12.00 hrs.
Minus eating etc..........................= 01:00 hrs.
Total vaping time.........................= 18.00 hrs.

I deducted 1 hr. for eating etc. Had to drop my nic level because I've been trying to hit this quite often.

When you get into the 1.6 ohm and 1.8 ohm level your time drops considerably but why would a person need LR on a HV adjustable PV. On the Buzz Pro I get around 18 hr. on a carto and around 8 to 12 on an LR but I don't use LR .

That looks awesome! I remember reading you were going to do this but never saw a pic of the finished product. Very nice work.

My god. 5card, those times are beautiful. I was actually wondering about the original Buzz's run time avg. but I don't care anymore. I think the Buzz Pro and me are just MEANT to be. I researched a lot of mods and had it down to 3. But for the price/features, the Buzz Pro is still the King of the Hill.

Ya but vaping times vary from one person to another. Some people have a puff every couple minutes with no time out. I couldn't vape like that or I would get a nic overload but I use 24mg. There are also those I've seen post longer times than that on the original Buzz. It's all in your vaping style but as Mist said the vaping time on a Buzz Pro is about double the Buzz Original. The price is great to as there are VV mods that copied notcigs design charging over $240.00 and fixed voltage mods charging close to $300.00

Ummm.... 5C, Some people have a puff every few SECONDS with no time out........ Just sayin'.

AAAAnd that is me. Sometimes, nowadays. I used to be like that 24/7...but when you are going through a 30ml bottle in 4 days, you start to slow down. I still vape hardcore at times, but I have been a little more judicious in usage lately. I guess I am finally calming down after a year, huh? I love the looks of the original Buzz (IMHO I like it more than the Pro, which sounds weird but its true). I think the battery life would be sufficient and all that, but I think I should wait for the Pro. It's kinda hard, since there are a couple original Buzz's in stock. If they had a Blue one in stock, I might not have been able to wait.

Really Mike? I go through 6 mls a day and get 6 hours on the Buzz using those grey ultrafires and a 2.5-ish Ω Fusion.
4.5 to4.7V

I dont know I stopped keeping times a long time ago on the old Buzz ??? LOL

I am just guessing on the old style. , the Pro times are correct at least !
