A few questions?

Hello all! I'm sure all of my questions could be answered if I just searched and read, but since I did that for almost 2 weeks straight to decide on a model to buy, now I'm getting impatient. So in advance, sorry for repeating other questions.

Okay, I've been an E-cig user for about a month. Bought a Joye510 from Rocky Mountain Vapor, and I'm really happy with it so far (got the PCC for work so the battery life isn't an issue). First question: my wife and I both had a serious interest E-cigs, but after I got my 510, she found that for her it lacked the throat hit of an analog. I have since convinced her that a fresh battery can make the difference, but we're wondering if someone could recommend a particular unit that would give a better and more constant hit, yet still look almost like a cig. I watched some vid reviews that point towards an E-cigar, and we might try that for home, but she'd like something small for work and around town.

Now, I am starting to notice some occasional flaws with my 510 atomizers concerning taste and not producing vapor, but I'm learning to fix those problems by reading here. My biggest issue is the juice. I bought a few flavors from VapeApe: chocolate, clove, and RY4. Not bad, but they don't have the actual flavor kick like I assumed they would. The chocolate has an hint of a burnt cookie aftertaste, and the clove doesn't really taste like anything. My wife and I always enjoyed the taste of clove analogs, so we're both disappointed in the juice. I was going to order the sample pack from Johnson Creek later today (loyalty to my home state?) but about a half hour ago I found another post about JC juice killing vapos and batteries. Is there a brand, of comparable price, that actually tastes like the flavor on the bottle, and carries clove? Oh yeah, and won't kill my parts?

I had something else, but I forgot. To sum up: a small E-cig with plenty of vapor and awesome throat hit, and flavors with real taste. Info please?

I would say go for some 901's. My girl friend and I ordered some 510's and cant wait for them. We have our 901's and the flavor is very good, throat hits or great on fresh batts and the vapor is pretty good too! We finally broke our attys in and i made a comment to her tonight that if I knew they were going to be this good, i would not have ordered the 510's. none the less, still excited to try out the 510s.

Just remembered my other question. When I first started refilling my carts, about 2 weeks ago, I could get 7-8 drops in the fluff. My smoking habit was one analog about every hour to an hour and a half, with an analog lasting around 5 minutes. I used my 510 in the same fashion, being careful to keep it from getting hot during use. The cart with 7-8 drops would last me through 4 or 5 of these sessions.

Past few days, I get that dry burning taste I've read about after 2 of these sessions. I try refilling my cart (because I read in here never let the cart go dry), and I only get 3 or 4 drops in (even with the straw technique to release air). I have tried removing the "cotton" and cleaning, which helped the taste, but not the time it lasts. Is this a vaporizer issue, or is there something wrong with my "cotton?" Or is it something else I'm too new to recognize? More help please? :)

Thanks for the replies! Between Deadcat's message and my last 2 hours of reading these forums, I found one of my problems. I started rinsing my cart filler about a week ago, and didn't really understand the bridge concept. When I'd put the filler back in my cart, I was pushing it down so the atomizer wouldn't burn it. So my atomizer wasn't getting any juice! I have since pulled my packing back up, and I'm happy vaping again.

Not sure if this is related, or just my imagination, but since running a basically dry vaporizer for a couple days, my juices are starting to have more flavor. Still not enough flavor for my liking, but enough to keep me from analogs! :) Thanks again for the info and advice!

Search "Straw Mod" that can help keep the juice up top and flavorful. Also take it easy. power vaping zaps the juice from filler and then the juice has to wick up a bit and it can take some time. I have a couple ecigs at the computer with differnt flavors - I'll hit the one, then the other. Same at my chair away from the computer - Janty stick and another 510. That helps.
