Hi all. Im fairly new to vaping and looking to sort out a few question before placing the order for one

First of all, is there a need to get a few clearomiser or will just buying one suffice? I understand that it should be able to be reused so i am wondering is there a need to order more

Secondly, where do people get the fancy version of e-cigs itself? I looked through a few website and most of the e-cigs look pretty standard but ive seen people with unique colors and design and wondering whether is it a custom sprayon, or do vendor actually make those?

Thanks in advance :)

+1 on the backups, you never want to be without,

give fasttech a shot! I know nothing about your import laws but it has been recommended to place many small orders with them in case something does not make it over the border.

clearo's are considered disposables, I have had them last for 5 minutes, I have a couple that have been around for more than a month. may even try vivi nova's. I have several people that say they get a much better hit from the vivi's. One gentleman had to drop his nic level from 30 to 24 by changing to a vivi.

I guess getting extra wouldn't hurt
Since they are disposables, i guess stocking up would be the smartest choice as i wouldn't wanna run out when i need them the most heh

Fasttech looks good but i doubt i'm able to get it across the border
Custom is really tough on vapes especially in the recent years.
i guess i would have to hook up with the local vapers to get them to impart me some importing skills;)

jaen,

Most new people to e-cigs make alot of mistakes in the beginning. My recommendation is to watch videos from either GrimmGreen or Phil Busardo. Here are their links.
GrimmGreen: http://www.grimmgreen.com/
Phil Busardo: http:/..................../wordpress/

Watch their videos and you will learn. I have helped many people get off cigarettes and into Vaping with out spending much money and get really great items and vapor.

Get a VAMO Mod and a Kanger ProTank. You just can't go wrong with this mod and tank. Very inexpensive, and they both work awesome. Let me know if you need some assistance finding good prices on these items. The VAMO and a ProTank will only cost you around $55.00 plus shipping. The VAMO is very easy to use and you can adjust it to get the best vapor and flavor for YOU. An EGO battery is only 3.7 volts and as it discharges, so does your vape quality. Not with the VAMO.

Hope this helps you. :)

Thanks lexxon

Trouble is not with finding good prices but rather how to bring them into where im currently staying.
My country has a tight lockdown on tobacco imitation products and its really not easy to import it.
Wouldn't mind paying abit more of a premium to get what i want but prices here is crazily jacked up due to the shortage.

Im actually looking to purchase a VAMO / Provari Mini with a kanger protank and it seem that im on the right track :)
Would you recommend VAMO or Provari for a first time vaper? And is Smoktech Bolt any good?
Meanwhile, I'll take a look at the videos and brush up on my vaping knowledge.

Cheerios~

Just remember that if you're buying a Vamo you're gonna have to buy separate batteries like an 18650 or 18350s as opposed to the ego which is a battery in itself. You're also gonna want a good charger.

Some people say that when they should have started with the provari but I have a vamo and I love it. However, before I bought the vamo I had 2 ego twists + kanger protank to start with.

As others have said, backups are your friend ...but, depending on what you get, you may not need to go overboard. Clearomizers - in our world - covers a lot of ground. Generally, if your clearomizer doesn't have the option to replace the coil head, you can clean it and reuse it a couple of times, maybe, but it is ultimately meant to be disposable. You will buy these as consumables and you will want several on hand. If your clearomizer, on the other hand, has the option to replace the coil head, you can clean and reuse it multiple times - swapping out the coil head as needed - so you won't need as many on hand (2 - 5, unless you use them to swap out juices frequently). How many you want on hand is further dependent on whether it has a polycarbonate/plastic tank or a glass tank - plastics are susceptible to being damaged by acidic juices so you will want, maybe, 5 of these on hand while you may only need 2 glass tanks unless you are hard on them and break them alot. Personally, I only use glass clearomizers and I only buy - but I always buy - 2 of them.

Secondly, where do people get the fancy version of e-cigs itself? I looked through a few website and most of the e-cigs look pretty standard but ive seen people with unique colors and design and wondering whether is it a custom sprayon, or do vendor actually make those?
Hard to say without knowing which ones, in particular, you are looking at/talking about, but there are a couple of vendors out there that sells 'wraps' for PV mods - J Wraps is one. These might be what you are seeing ...or, you could be looking at truly unique designs and custom builds.

jaen,

What I have for home is a Vamo and an protank. For going out of the house, I have an Ego Twist and a Mini Protank. Both the normal Protank and the mini use the same coil. And they both taste great. The Provari is a great mod, but I find the Vamo easier to use because the Provari has a menu system, where the Vamo just has a few buttons, each one shows you something different. Much easier to master and use, IMO. The Provari cost about 6 times what a V2 Vamo costs from FastTech. I just ordered a Kanger ProTank v.1b from FastTech and it arrived from Hong Kong in just 6 days to Nevada, 2 of those were the weekend. Very fast shipping and only $0.33 shipping.

The Vamo can either use an 18650 or an 18350 battery. My advice is to get 2 18650 batteries and a battery charger. They last a lot longer then the 18350's and get yourself, for a backup, an EGO Twist and a Mini ProTank.

That is what I use, and I am very happy with the vapor and flavor and ease of use. But as in all things, everyone has their own opinion. This just happens to be mine. I have helped so many of my friends quit smoking and all of the just love the Vamo and the ProTank. Both are inexpensive and easy to use. Money is very hard for me to get, since I'm retired and on social security, so I always go for the biggest bang for the buck :) lol

Just some basic information about the types of e-cigarettes...there are three distinct kinds of batteries used:

Cigalikes, or cigarette-size batteries. Short battery life between charges (3 - 4 hours) and very limited juice attachments available. Most vapors start out with these. These can get you off of cigarettes, but most vapors advance to the eGo batteries or advanced personal vaporizers (APVs).

Ego batteries are about the size of a cigar. Better battery life (6 - 13 hours) and more juice attachment options. These are a nice mid-level battery setup for beginners or mid-level vapors; even advanced users continue to use these as their backup or for out-&-about use outside the house.

APVs, or "mods" can have a variety of sizes and shapes (tube or box), but what sets them apart is they use replaceable, rechargeable batteries. Variety of battery life (7 - 24 hours or more). Instead of carrying multiple cigalikes or eGo batteries for a day outing, only one APV need be required (possibly a spare small battery carried safely in a plastic battery case, just in case). Full range of juice delivery attachments available. These batteries have a much longer expected lifetime expectancy (over 1 year) where the other two options have an expected lifetime of only several months. These batteries are less expensive to replace than an eGo, costing only $6 - $8 each.

The mods that are "regulated" or have a processor circuit to increase voltage, have LED displays to give information such as battery voltage left or the ohm rating of the juice delivery device.

Here's a picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery attachments available:
