A few very newbie questions

Hello all.
First let me say how glad I am to find this forum. I just registered today, but I've been reading posts for a month or so now. I've been vaping for about 3 months now, moving from regular cigs, to ecigs like Vuze and Blu, to finally getting an proper PV. I started with an eGo-U and was instantly hooked. I'm still learning something new everyday.

I had upgraded from the battery that came with the eGo to a Vision Spinner. The Spinner was great and I liked the size and weight of it over the standard battery that first came with my kit. But, while not paying attention, I screwed the battery onto the charger too tight and messed something up so it wouldn't charge anymore(I tried different chargers to make sure it WAS the battery). So now I'm using a Spinner 2, and it's great. I've also recently upgraded from the standard clearomizers that came with the kit. I purchased a Kanger T3D, a Kanger MiniProTank 3, and a Kanger Evod2.(a quick shout out to the guy at High Voltage Vapes. I was going to buy a different clearomizer than the Evod2, but then the dude pointed out that if I got the Evod2, all three of my clearomizers would use the same replacement coils, thereby saving money in the long run. He didn't have to point that out, so thanks again!!) Since these are pyrex, and I'm not the best at NOT BREAKING stuff, I also purchased a little carrying case. So far, I'm loving the setup I have.

Here are my questions:
If I have a clearomizer with liquid in it, can I safely carry that around in the case?? I mean, if the case is sideways or upside down...will the liquid leak out?? I would like to keep a couple clearomizers in the case with liquid, so if I want to change flavors or whatever, it's easy. But I know the case will be on it's side/upside down from time to time, and I don't want a giant mess.

I developed a leak in one of the original clearomizers that came with my kit, due to screwing it on to tightly. After searching through this forum, I discovered a link to a video that showed how to pull the little pin from the bottom and "reseat" it to stop the leak. That worked great!! But recently, the tank developed a new leak. This time it's leaking from where the metal bottom ring meets the plastic part of the unit. I'm fairly certain this is probably due to me carrying it around in my pocket while attached to the battery, and through the course of the day getting knocked around/banged/etc. I understand these are cheap clearomizers, but has anyone else expienced this same problem?? Is it repairable?? Is it even worth it? What if I just 'smear' a bit of crazy glue around the seal, would that fix it??

I bought a little desktop stand for my vaperorizer, but didn't even consider my battery size. The little stand is perfect for the small batteries that came with the kit, but the Spinner 2 is much to wide for the stand. Do they make a "universal" stand(I don't want to have to have a different stand for multiple batteries), or has anyone made a DIY stand?? How about one for in the car?

And while I realize everyone's tastes are different, I do have a question about e-juice. I'm looking for something sweet. I mean super duper sugary sweet. I have a very weak sense of taste(or maybe smell since they're connected), and I also have a serious sweet tooth. I'm not to the point of making my own e-juice yet, so I'm trying different shops. I found a shop that made a pretty good Key Lime Pie, and I also have a bottle of Mother's Milk from Suicide Bunny(mainly because I read a post on this forum that gave it great reviews), but even those aren't sweet enough for me. So I guess what I'm wondering is if there is a brand/company/product line that puts more of the "flavor juice" in their juice? Does that make sense??

Okay lets get to it!

1) Nope, I carry around my tanks with liquid in them all the time, no leaks!

2) To be honest with you, I would invest in kanger protank (only ~$20 and you replace the coil for only $1.50). They're great for beginners and 10000000x better than any cheap cartomizer.

3) There's lots of vape stand online shops, you'll have to search around. Or look for a vape shop near you, the store near me has all kinds of stands, its great!

4) Luckily for you, my roommate has the same preference. He reccomments Grimms Creations, specifically their Vanilla Custard!

I have an extra tank with me at all times but I do keep it in a little zip bag ( it may leek) and keep that in my kit.

Walmart sells a tiny attache type case for around $10 that locks, has a 3 cylinder combination on the front. 000 is unlocked all the time and it comes with a pin through it at 000 so that people can open it and look. It has metal reinforced corners and a carrying handle. You'll find it in Pharmacy around the blood pressure machines. For those who like that style, it's a good deal.

The battery that won't charge probably has the center pin pushed back so far that it doesn't touch the charger center pin. You can wiggle it back out a bit with slim tipped needle nose pliers.

I agree that a glass Protank/Protank 2 is a good choice for pocket carry. It also uses the T3S Kanger heads that will swap out for the T3D, so they will still swap with each other. I know this because my Kanger Aerotank Mega also uses the T3D and works just fine with the single coil T3S. That lets me stock the T3S for the Mega, Protank, Evod, and the Protank 2. I got tired of replacing a T3D every day and the T3S coils are half the price and work just as well, even though the ones I'm getting now are short life, too. Kanger and Aspire both have some issues with short coil life.

I'm waiting on an email reply from Kanger service right now. I got the standard acknowledgement that my email was received and tech support would be responding soon. I'm going through a 5 pack in 3 days. The resistance rises and the coil opens once it reaches about 3.5 to 4 ohms. That happens in about 8 hours of vaping at 3.5 to 4 volts.

To the question of leaking, they should be fine while carrying around filled.

Before I got into Evods, Protanks, Kayfuns ect I was using clear-o-mizers from Volcano ecigs. I liked they way they worked, but as you have experienced, they had issues w/ the plastic cracking at the base where the tank portion meets the metal 510 connection. To make them last longer I would attach the carto to my battery and then wiggle the tank up and away from the base exposing just a bit of the metal portion. Then I would apply some superglue and push the plastic portion back down to sit flush and let dry. This allowed the cartos to last much longer before cracking. **It's best do do this before any e-liqud has been added so the glue sets up better.
In addition I would add superglue on the outside of the plastic base and then put a ziptie around it, this adds another lvl of security/stability; not the prettiest, but it works well.

Kangers Evods and Protanks would be a solid step up from cartos. There is a new tank coming out from Smoke Stik called the Ultra Tank which is basically an improved Evod. (I think they will be priced around $6.50). The tank itself performs better, and the stock coils/wicks are much better than Kanger's. Here is a review on the Ultra Tank\/\/\/\/

Thanks for the response Atrain009!! Glad to know I "should" be fine carrying around tanks with liquid in them. I know that nothing is 100%, but I feel a bit safer now. And I'm going to research the Kanger Protank, but just in your opinion, what is the advantage of the Protank 2 over the 3 Kanger tanks I currently have(T3D, Mini Protank3, EVOD2)? I'm just trying to learn all I can. And thanks(and tell your roommate thanks as well) for the ejuice recommendation. I really appreciate it.

Any atomizer tank system whether it be rebuildables, clearos, cartos etc all have a potential to leak. They all have a air way somewhere near the coil/wick so if over wicked, a leak down that airway can occur. Over wicking can occur from tight draw if bottom coil or pressure differential (kayfun for example), priming too much/too hard, oversaturating wick, or simply coil/wick submerged in liquid for extended period of time.
Other reasons for a leak can be tank sections not fully tightened or wick caught in threaded section.

So ultimately will laying it on its side cause a leak? The answer is eventually. Personally when I used clearos I tried to avoid laying the device on its side whence possible. Holders/stands are a great idea; one for the car, one for work and one for at home and mauve some sort of pouch holder for on the go that you can put on a belt loop. I also preferred top coil clearos as they have to overcome gravity by having liquid travel up the wick to be able to leak down center (provide it is kept upright, very slim chance of it over wicking in that situation).
So just don't keep them on their sides very long.

As for sweet e-liquids, if you don't want to make your own, but have found a flavor that you like but wish it was sweeter you can add Sucralose, or Ethyl Maltol (aka Cotton Candy Flavor) which will give it the extra sweetness. I would add 5-10 drops per 20-30ml, test it then add more if needed. ***Sucralose is VERY sweet so don't add too much; EM is sweet, but not as much as Sucralose so keep that in mind. Both can be found on most sites that sell DIY flavors. Check out https://highdesertvapes.com they are offering 20% off of all DIY supplies (and 50% off of pre-mixed e-liquids I believe)

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that responded to my questions. I've found this to be a very helpful and friendly forum!! That's awesome!!!
Can anyone point me to a....."Vapes for Dummies" type site?? I'd love to learn more about some things like what voltage I should set my battery to(3.8? 4.3? depends on ejuice? depends on taste?), the pros/cons of different coil resistance(I think that's the term), the pros/cons of vg/pg and different ratios. Things like that.

Leaking - I've been pretty lucky so far. None of my toppers has had the audacity to leak. I have a couple ecig cases (look like glasses cases on a little bit of steroids) that I pack my goodies in. If I'm going to be traveling or be in a warmer vehicle for any length of time, I do put my bottles in a ziplock baggie, just in case.

Check the o-ring that might be at the base where it seals to the rest of the tank. If it's missing or damaged, that could be causing you issues. BTW, nice job on fixing the leaky pin issue. I haven't needed it yet, but will try to remember to look, if the need arises!

Stands.... If you have a block of wood and a 1"-1-1/2" drill bit, I'd make your own. I have a big chunk of 4x4 that I'm going to cut down to make something for my Spinner/VV3 and EVOD-type tanks

Flavor - if you've recently quit smoking, your tastebuds and sense of smell are somewhat fried. What doesn't have a lot of flavor now will likely blossom as your tastebuds heal. For now, I'd be inclined to agree with soulcatcher to add your own sweetener. You may find you won't need it down the road (hopefully?)
