I got an ego-c starter kit that came with 1 disposable and 1 replaceable clearomizer. They are both long wick, and I'm not sure what resistance they are. The disposable one started leaking all of a sudden. I filled it this morning, and everything worked great until this afternoon when it started leaking. I took off the mouth piece and there isn't any juice leaking down from the top, so I think the leak is from the bottom. I left it sitting upright for maybe 15 minutes, blew into the mouth piece and didn't see any spatter or leak. I screwed it on the battery and after a puff or two, checked and there was a little bubble of juice on the battery. I've done the same thing a few times, and each time there is no leak when its just sitting there, and then a little dab on the battery when I use it.

My replaceable clearomizer isn't giving me any problems at all. Could this be a difference in the other one being disposable? Is there any way to fix it?

online you can find a 510-901 ohm meter for about 20 dollars. the vapor shop i go to has one and its pretty slick, will even show if you have a short. as far as for leaks i have found the mini ViVi works well for me and has not leaked in that area. i think the disposable ones are not made as well and leak at the seal of the positive post when they heat up.

I have also found the Stardust clearomizers to leak, maybe a drop or two on the battery. I thought it was condensation dripping down the post, but was never sure. I recall seeing a youtube video by estarra with the theory that it might be the seal between the drip tip and the silicon cap isn't very good. In any case, try a Vivi Nova. I use the mini Vivi Nova and have never had a leak. Still on the original head, wick, and coil after a month and a half.

also cleaning with hot water seems to crack the plastic and spring leaks around the the seals. will only soak in vodka now. 15-30 min bath shake out and ready to go.

OP is hot enough to crack clearos. I'll grab a bottle of vodka and take a look at them for her.

welcome to ECF baby.

Are you sure that the tip on the disposable didn't get mixed up with the other. Thy are suppose to be the same but (famous last words). Does the tip screw down good on the problem on. Is the silicone nipple on top of the atty on good and is it intact, NO HOLES. The only thing that I've seen cause top feeds to leak is a problem with the fit at the top or if the silicone nipple has a problem. My ViVI Nova did that when I put the nipple on wrong and did not tighten the top good.

The tip seems fine. It screws down all the way and I've made sure to not lose the silicone ring because I've heard of that causing leaks. I've been playing around with cleaning it out and re-filling it and it seems to be a slow infrequent leak, so I'm thinking it's just cheap

Be sure that you aren't over filling. If you fill above the wick line it will leak and/or gurgle when you puff on it.
The only other place that it can leak is between the mouthpiece and silicon sleeve if you don't get a good seal.

Ive cleaned mine with hot water but think i will use alcohol from now on as it cleans better i suppose and no risk of leaks. Ive had leaks from mine but the inner metal part was bent which is then off centre to the mouthpiece so lets it leak in to your mouth, horrible taste. Had to bend it slightly back to the middle and its fine now.

Mine has been leaking the past few days and it was all due to over filling. Now I make sure I don't fill above the wick line and not leaked since

Once mine started leaking they kept leaking even though I was careful to not overfill... :(

Have you dropped it on a hard floor? The plastic comes loose from the metal base where it screws to battery which makes it leak. Warm the plastic and metal up so you can detach the plastic from metal then glue it back together. This is what happened to mine and glued it back together, been fine ever since.
