Hey guys and gals,

I have a question for all you V2 users here in

My friend recently bought a Boge Revolution V2 because he asked me what a good inexpensive feeder would be and I mentioned the device to him. He purchased it and it arrived not too long ago but it is only firing with the Bauway LR carto it came with. Is this a common issue? Is this just a defective device?

Thanks in advance all! :)

The only problem I had with mine: left the slider "on" one day and had tighter pants on ... when I sat down it activated the button and I didn't realize until I smelt burning carto filler in the air. Melted the plastic/rubbery stuff around the connector. I thought of super glueing it down, then wondered if inhaling super glue was really such a great idea :p

maybe the cartos that it came with, have a longer center pin than other 510 threaded carto/attys.
and because of this the connection cant make contact.

try pulling the center pin back up , ever so slightly, and keep your friend from cranking down on the attys.

this may not be the problem, but give it a try.

This is an issue with the REV's IMHO. I've had one for a few months and find the depth of the thread to be really shallow in that you can't screw a carto or atty too deep before it bottoms out on the connector collar, so you can't really be sure the center post is even making contact.

Well, I'll never suggest this device to anyone ever again

Edit: Turns out to have been a rather quick fix!

As of right now the device is working! Al from CDNvapor suggested a quick fix that solved the issue. Turn out the connector on the device needed a slight adjustment and the boge cartos are now firing flawlessly. This is a testament of how even a mm of space on the positive contact can make a huge difference.

I redact my previous statement and will continue to back this device. Lesson learned!

Cool beans :)

We are seeing more and more of this type of problem cropping up these days :( Out of 4 eGo C batteries I am alternating on 2 atties, one atty does that, bummer. A minor annoyance mind you, but an annoyance regardless.

NOTE: Something I noticed with the eGo C batts - you can't really reef on the atty before they bottom out = a good thing. They just make contact now, not like before where you had a good 1/4 - 3/4 turn left sfter the atty has seated = a safety feature.
