Today is day 22 for me. One son and his fiance are now trying vaping as well. The other is going to get a kit for Christmas. I'd not do it if I didn't think he'd like the flavors and give it a go. He may beat me to it though because he seemed astonished and very proud that I quit after 37 yrs.

A young lady at work is using the South Beach unit I started out using. I'm really enjoying my e-Power, the info here on ecf. and the flavors... oh my the flavors!

Great story, and congrats to the both of you! I'm not a fan of Rush (Limbaugh, that is; the band I like, but I'm Canadian so that's a requirement) but he gets my props for being a visible and vocal proponent of E-cigs.

When I finally got the direct question from her if I was still smoking I had to answer truthfully, and surprise surprise she was thrilled and is telling everyone she knows about vaping!

I still thought I was immortal right up until a skiing accident a few years ago.
I turned from an immortal into a run-of-the-mill middle-aged man in the span of a few seconds.

I have to give the credit for my success (4 weeks tomorrow without an analog) to the Maha Rushi too.

I had never heard of e-cigs before he mentioned them on his show about 31 days ago. He mentioned that he used them and vaguely described them.

When I got back to work I did an internet search and almost ordered the first kit I looked at. For some reason, I clicked on the Google link to the ECF, read a few posts, ordered the Volt starter kit and 3 days later (27 days ago) I started vaping and gave up analogs. I haven't craved an analog since.

Thank Rush Limbaugh. Thank you ECF members.

Rush is who made my Dad believe that switching to vaping would actually be better than smoking for me. Didn't matter when I told him- he just told me to man up and quit cold turkey. Showed him a video of Rush talking about then he was like "That's Great!!". Gotta love extremely conservative parents

Note: My dad quit smoking when he was 21 due to a "vision". Crazy story actually. But me thinks it was too much of that hippie dank. Haha.

Oh and definite +1 to Rad story! That's really awesome ^_^

Edit: I just want to say I am a fan of Rush's show and not anti-conservative in any way... I just don't live my life dictated by any political means.
