Well, I believe pure gold is quite soft. Not sure how soft it is compared with copper. But gold plating wouldn't make any difference. It would have as much effect as a coat of paint.

A gold plated mod sounds cool. If you had something like a mech that could be stripped down you could send the case off to be plated. Might not even cost too much.

Just bought it. £220/290 dollars. I feel bad. Worth it you think? Savings to rent accommodation but I couldn't help myself. @englishmick

Beautiful. If I remember right there were some gold plated Provari.
It's better than gold plating, it's gold ZenKote, almost as hard as a diamond. It is a vapor deposition process that bonds the finish at the molecular level, nearly impossible to scratch, unless you damage the steel beneath it:

ProVari 2.5 Gold Electronic Cigarettes
it's a 15 watt, 3.5 amp limited mod, and comes with an extender cap so you can use 18490 or 18650 cells(button top), cost, 49.95 :)

Yeah I can appreciate that opinion. I wanted something different though. Caravelas are beautiful mods either way. I've got so many 2 a penny mods and hopefully no one else would have this for a while. Or ever for that price :)
I think the particular style of this one is extremely flattering though. I don't think it's too overstated and I think it will look very good in my hand.

Man, you are moving fast Zut. Seems like only a few months ago you popped up here asking the most basic newbie questions. What's a coil guys, and do I need one in my mod? Now you're sporting a gold plated mech.

Rofl

Man, I've been recovering from something and had so much time on my hands (no work for 2yrs now!!!).

I owe lots to vaping and I've had the time to learn it.
Saying that though, I've never built a vertical coil! And I haven't even got the little voltage drop checker thing.

I do owe a lot to this community though. I still find it strange that your all here. Even with real lives, jobs, wives/husbands and kids. I have none of those tying me down.

Whatever WillyZee, Just cos I'm jealous of your vast provari collection I still couldn't care less if you get that mod.
I'll cast a sideways, nonchalant, gloating glance as I cruise past you with my dragon. :)

Again, joking.

that is a custom Gold ZenKote Dragon ProVari with custom end cap made by Zen
