A good bit of advice needed.

The picture in the link was showing about 5 of the atomisers; the coil is inside the atomiser; you can see the wick in the atomisers.

for a passthrough so far i've only bookmarked it on fasttech here:
$5.58 Variable Voltage USB Passthrough for E-Cigarette - silver at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

but of the two i did buy a couple months ago, one died recently; the electronics died; or so it seems anyway; really need a straight physical cable that could be relied upon and a separate optional electronic switch.

Thanks so much for the link, I'm definitely going to have to get that passthrough!

I favor the Vivi Novas and the iClear 30s

I'll definitely try iClears sometime, but I have my mind set on protank for sure!

Expect to spend about 75$ on tank and power kit ( mod and battery set w/charger) I went with Vamo3 with batteries and charger 55$ and an RSST Tank 21$ learn to wind your own coils and use cotton wick along with some 3 mm Silica wicking from the tank to the cotton bedding. you will be better off with this instead of going thru the several upgrades most of us went thru buying the egos blu's etc. As far as 1.8 or 2.2 or 2.5 ohms, that is a preferential thing I found that 1.5-2.2 ohms work well with 100%VG ( less likely to produce a dry burn IMO but then again thats dependent on the tank too) thats why i like my RSST..

So, right now, I'm unsure on a few things.

1) Is it true that 100% VG liquid gives more vapor?

2) Is the Vision Spinner (1300) better than an Ego-t (1100)?

3) Will an iPhone wall adapter work with the chargers?

100 percent VG will give you more vapor but less throat hit. It may also clog up your atomizer head faster. If you don't have an allergic reaction to either VG or PG, it's a matter of personal preference. I like about a 60PG/40VG ratio.

A vision spinner 1300 will last longer than an ego twist 1100. The volts are also harder to read on the ego twist.

I have read that you should not use an iphone adapter. I would check that out for sure.

Helpful, thanks, I'll definitely keep that in mind. $100 is just my around budget, I'm willing to go over that. I'm sure I'm going to go spending crazy after Christmas on various other things you listed:)

I'd like a balance of both so I guess I'll order a mix of all different VG/PG percentages and see which one I enjoy the most!

Thanks for clearing that up and I'll do my research on the charger :)
