I also do the pinky thing, but instead of pushing with my pinky (it has been broken alot) I kind of pull the pv down against the pinky with my thumb and forefinger.
I'm finding the pinky pretty automatic/intuitive and its gets easier as you break it in:

Personally, whether I disagree with him or not on this particular issue, I respect Sense Field for having the cajones to state his strong and potentially unpopular opinion right here as he's done, rather than snipe from the distance.

Looks like the battery safety sticky is gone. I really have to consider whether I am too. I find the reaction very disturbing.
Ive tried looking up stuff there before but its all crap info that isnt worth anything
I will have to admit, there are things happening with his unit, that aren't with mine. I don't have the issue with having only a little play on the bottom button, and I don't have the tight threading where air will not pass. But, I have only used the one configuration I am testing mine in, which is the AW IMR 18490, and the Kick. I am going to test mine with other single battery configurations tonight, and see if I can duplicate.
As much as I don't like his approach to the issue, it looks like there is something going on with his unit... and that is concerning. So, I want to dig into this a bit more, and see what I can find out.
