I have gotten quite a few people into these e-cigs. The ones who have purchased them are always calling me with questions for improvements and the ones who haven't are calling me about the randoms questions (we all had) before starting out. So I sat down and wrote a How To with my own personal successes. I am a total noob vaper. It's been almost a month for me now. But I have done TONS and TONS of research every single day to find a better taste/better method and what-not.
This is my (unfinished) How To. After doing each of these things, I have found my experience to be most pleasant. Any feedback/new suggestions I may be able to try out and add would be most appreciated!

Purchase your Joye 510 starter kit from an e-cig online store. (My recommended seller is Jason Cornfeld from electronicstix.com. He is very helpful, personable, inexpensive, and he ships super fast. Also you can use his promotional coupon code esf10 to recieve 10% off of your entire order.). Anyways, purchase your starter kit along will niquid/e-liquid (these are the same thing) of your choice of flavor and strength. Get a few of these and you will be set for a long time! (i like to buy in bulk out of convenience and to cut down on shipping costs) Other recommended purchases are a PCC charger (for on the go vaping.. This will charge your battery everytime you use it, plus it doubles as a protective case) and the Joye 306 series atomizer (this is not necessary, but i strongly recommend it for the best vaping experience possible) i know this may sound strange, but as you are waiting for your order to arrive, go to the store and purchase a contact lens case. (Explained later)
Congratulations on your Joye 510 E-cig purchase!
Now that you have all of your items, i will explain to you how to use them.
*See Notes before starting for extra tips*
Step 1: charge all of your items for a few hours.
Step 2: screw your 306 atomizer into your battery.
Step 3: fill your contact case with some of your e-liquid.
Step 4: pull the black cartidge off of your atomizer (with everything screwed together, just pull) dip your atomizer (metal coil) into your liquid. Allow it to wick up the juice. Replace the cartidge.
Step 5: screw the atomizer back on to the battery
Step 6: hold the button down on the battery and inhale! (note: this should not be inhaled the same way you would inhale a cigarette, your draw should not be as deep, failure to do so will cause you to cough, if this should occur, take lighter hits) dip when the flavor drops off :)

Notes:
new atomizers come pre-primed from the factories. The primer they use produces an unpleasant taste. This taste will go away within a short time frame. Or you can stick your atomizer in a shot glass with 1/2 distilled white vinegar 1/2 water. and it works WONDERS. actually gets rid of the factory primer taste before first use too!

Make sure thay your atomizer stays primed! (this means keep liquid on it) failure to do so will result in a burnt wick which produces an unpleasant flavor that will not go away. If this should occur, you will need to purchase a new atomizer.

Yes, dipping is (in my personal opinion) better than dripping and carts...but i find that when I am driving somewhere it's a hassle to dip (or drip for that matter) as the liquid burns up fairly quickly. Someone suggested this, and i've been doing it for 2 days, and WOW: take a piece of your old cart filler and roll it into a ball. stick it in your liquid container and let it soak up some juice. then just stick it to the side of the atty, (i dip my atty in the juice to pick the ball up, getting as much juice as possible) then put the empty cart back over the atomizer and vape away! This (tested) lasts about 8 puffs longer than a traditional analog. So I get a full cig on the road without worrying about having to drip/dip while driving. Plus, more vapor!! Tastes amazing!! (I know you may think this is the same as a cart, but I can attest that it is not! In carts the liquid dries out around the atty and then you have the liquid up by your mouth and it can't get down the atty to produce the vapor. I went through 3 attys because of carts when i first started. burnt them to crap. this method makes it very apparent when you are out of liquid and you know that you will need more before you can vape again. It lasts as much as you would normally expect (with analogs) while driving and it's just so easy!) Just make sure, (if you have a protruding atty like i do) that you pinch in on the side of the atty when you close everything up with your empty cart, that way it is held up against the atty and you can easily draw all of the liquid out of the sponge. Anyways. try it, you'll like it!

If you have ever attempted to quit smoking before, you already know this: depending on how long/much you have smoked, in the time period right after you quit you will be coughing and spitting things up. This is tar being cleaned off of your lungs and no a byproduct of the e-cig. If however, it continues for weeks after you quit, you may want to consult a doctor. Again though, i would like stress, this is not from the e-cig, this is just what happens when you quit smoking.

MAOIs: these are addictive substances found in cigarettes. I am sure you knew that you were addicted to the nicotine, but you may not have been aware that you were also probably addicted to these as well. Most smokers who try e-cigs but return to analog cigarettes do so because they need the MAOIs. These substances can, however be found in other forms such as in the antidepressants Chantix and Wellbutrin. If you are having trouble sticking with the e-cig, you may want to ask your doctor for a prescription for one of these drugs. These things combined will not have a negative effect on your body and in my opinion are much much better than smoking cigarettes.

Disclaimer: i am not a doctor. I am just a poor college student who was once addicted to cigarettes. I discovered these e-cigarettes and had a pleasant experience with them and found a few useful tricks to make them more appealing and i wanted to share this information with fellow smokers who want to quit smoking.

I hope you too have a pleasant experience with the e-cigs and are able to kick the cigarette habit for good!
Good luck.....and enjoy.

**********Anyone who has had successful experience getting rid of the dry taste in between periods of not dripping/dipping, your input would be most appreciated!

I was really pushing the 306, and I still love it, but I'm thinking of trying the 510 again, it's been a minute since I used it and when I did use it, I think I was doing it wrong.. but the advantages of the 306 are (it's smaller than the 510 and makes your e-cig the exact size of an analog - which is neat, but not a deal maker) but the atomizer protrudes out instead of being hidden in a tube, which is better for dripping/dipping. I suppose with mods the 510 would be just as good. the carts by themselves suck. and I was trying to make a newbie how to without having to explain mods and crazy stuff. (They can figure out that kind of stuff on here ;) )
