I have my 510 set with a great cart mod and now the only thing I need to do is get some more juice and flavors. I see in the recipes that some people mix flavoring with juice that is already flavored and I was a little unsure what to do. I definitely want to do it myself so here are some questions: Can I just get unflavored and go from there? Is the only benefit to mixing with another tabocco flavor to simulate a cigarette with a designated taste?

I would like to just get some unflavored and them get some Loranns and mix it all with my VG but is that okay or should I stick with the originally flavored e-juice and add my own "extra" flavors?

I know it all depends on the user's taste but I'm looking for some experienced answers and opinions. Thanks

You can get unflavored juice from any vendor and mix your own flavors. Some of us think this is even better than purchasing flavors because you can tweek the flavor to suit your taste buds. I personally use both DIY flavors and vendor flavors.

See and that's what I thought but I've seen ao many recipes with Flavored juice. I was just trying to figure out why.

Any other insight? Anyone?

I also use both flavored (vendor) and unflavored. The reason is because certain flavor are either to hard to replicate or really are great but missing just a little something. The unflavored is for when I want a certain flavor with out the influence or undertone of a vendor mix. other benifits to unflavored is you can get it in higher mg levels and then cut it with VG or PG doubling or tripling your quantity with out doubling and tripling the price.

Hi all,
I'm very new to mixing my own juice, I have 24mg unflavored nicotine, I like to cut it down to 8 to 8.4mg, I tried the juice calculators using PG/VG percentages and 20% flavor, I still can't seem to get a nice flavor, I tried the butter rum and the butterscotch, I did not really like the flavor, and I love both of these ordinarily, could someone give me some suggestions how to mix these flavors with some other ones to get a nice vapor, I like more PG than VG I think, please let me know how to mix the percentages for the PG/VG more on the PG. Thanks for all the help

Well first it depends on the "Flavors" manufacturer, butterrum from Lorann is good, but I dont really like the caramel. Cappellas Caramel is awesome in comparision to Loranns.

Depending on which flavor you want to be the dominate flavor, say caramel, for 10ml to convert it would be:

3.3ml nic juice 24mg
5.7 PG or VG (now if you like more PG, then go with 4ml PG and 1.7ml VG)
10% flavoring to start off with (15drops caramel form Cappellas and 5 drops from Lorann)

Test it and add a couple drops at a time of each flavor until you arrive at the flavor you like. Always add more of the dominante flavor.

Hope this helps ya.

Hi,

Thank you for the information, I will give that a try. Do you have a list of other flavors that you like better from capellas opposed to loranns, I ordered alot of flavors from loranns, caramel being my favorite, but I will try capellas, what is the website address for capellas? Thanks you and have a great day! :)

Well I just got 18 flavors last week from cappellas Here: flavored shake, water flavor drops, flavor water, fruit drops, Flavored water, coffee flavors, bottled drinking water - Testimonials
And I have not tried them all, but I love the Caramel, Double Chocolate, Fudge Chocolate, Banana, Milk Chocolate and Toffee, and Cinnomon Danish Swirl to name a few! LOL Man I feel Like a flavor junkie hehehe

Hi,
One more question, which flavors do you mix and how much of each to make chocolate cream flavor, this is based on 8mg from 24mg? Thanks for your help. Also, if my unflavored nic juice is PG base, do I use the same amout of PG using the calculator?
Thanks,
April

Try the Double Chocolate from Cappellas and the bavarian cream from Loranns. Yes you can use PG or VG based on the mg strength you are trying to get to.

Thank you so much for the information, I find that you seem to be the guru in mixology. I hope I can make my own juice with some great flavor, I will let you know how it turns out. I'm a real junkie when it comes to the flavors as well. Do you feel that using the calculator measurements is spot on with mixing your own juice and it be the right consistancy? Have a great evening.

I was getting ready to gloat to hubby that "I didn't order that many flavors of Capellas, see someone else ordered 18 and I only ordered 17" and then I remembered that I ordered 3 doubles so I ordered 20 bottles. Guess I can't persuade him that I'm being conservative with my ordering :). At least he hasn't complained even once about anything I've ordered or how much money I've spent on my "cheaper than smoking" new hobby. At least I have the potential ban threat to excuse my stocking up.

HI Dan,

Could you please tell me exactally how many drops you use in something that tastes really great, I'm so disappointed in every thing I've tried to mix so far, I'm using your calculator, but I don't really like anything I've tried, I know it can be done, I've bought some of the caramel and many other flavors on=line and they taste pretty good. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I'm trying 1ml mixes first so I don't waste my unflavored PG based nic juice. Also how are people making almond flavors with oil based flavor, the only place that I now sells almond is capellas and they said they have toased almond and it is water soluble. Thanks for any help you can give me, I don't want to give up since I did buy alot of items to make my own jucie. Have a great day.
