That is helpful and that looks nice! It really isn't that I am committed to the clearos--I have just been a little reluctant to try the carts because they look a little more complicated. I think I may read up on them again and give them a try! The whole 'learning curve' with this new 'habit' has been a little more than I expected--but I keep reading and learning so eventually maybe I will 'get it'!!

This may or may not be helpful, because it sounds like you're committed to clearos. But with carto tanks you can screw the cart down to make positive contact, and then ever so slightly twist the tank up enough to get a little air flow.

In pic is TrevVapor ring, but same idea with most beauty rings.

Just checked and my Protank doesn't work on the Loki, but does work on the Compleo.

It's funny, because I feel carto tanks are simpler than clearo's. The only difference is higher risk of burning them if they aren't primed right. But it's easy to learn how to prime them so that NEVER happens. I just over prime them, bsically flood them right down the middle, and then blow out the excess. I can prime an fill a carto tank more accurately than a clearo.

Taste wise, it really depends on the juice. Some of my juices taste better in a clearo, some better in a carto. But I stick with mostly carto because I'm just all around more comfortable servicing them. Not to mention the universiality. I just made up a word, according to spellcheck.

But clearos have specific head replacements. Some are interchangeable. Carto-tanks on the other hand simply take cartos. any cartos.

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
Do those work with the Protank? I have looked at Loki and am waiting on the brass to come back to stock for the Cingulum Compleo (they are supposed to notify me) so if those work there may be some hope to use the beauty rings with a clearo -

I love the Provari--but just wish it was more square at the top ----I know it doesn't affect performance at all but I like the way the beauty rings look!

The Cingulum Compleo doesn't even come close to blocking anything. It's very loose, but the Loki ring fits beautifully. However, with certain glassomizers it can block the air. I find that a useful thing as it makes my Protanks and Hypertanks work a little better, although you have to loosen the Hypertank a little to get ANY air....lol

I figured I'd give carto tanks a try after PBusardo did a review on the Slap Yo' Mama tank too....lol

It looked so easy I lost my apprehension.

Thanks for the info--I think I will give cartos a try--I guess it can't be that hard! I guess I need to learn ALL the ins and outs--as I know I am going to stick with this--I really enjoy it!

I flood mine too. I'm puzzled when people get paranoid about flooding cartos. Bless their hearts, you just don't vape them when they are flooded.

ETA: Made up or misspelled? Universality I think is what you were aiming for. :pervy:

I prefer Protanks for unflavored juice, which I vape a lot of. No need to waste a carto.

I think that paranoia is natural the first couple days with cartos or any atomizer system. I know I used to very carefully tip my cartos and drop one drip at a time in the filler, let it soak in, drip and let it soak, and repeat until it just barely started to puddle atop the polyfill. Took..... for........ EVAR!

That all went out the window the first time I was in a hurry though. And now looking back at how delicate I was with the first handful of cartos I used, I can't help but chuckle.

Ha Ha-- This someone did not know what that was-- I will keep at it until I can do it all!!! Still learning how it all works--but never hesitate to order what I don't know how to use!! :)

I'm sorry. I forget that not everyone is well-versed in what the ProVarinati must have. A Slap Yo' Mama is right up there with a silver thurible.

There are other tank tools out there now, cheaper ones.

That video, however, made me realize I was making it harder than it had to be and my fear was silly. Ocelot has tons more useful information, too, so I have no doubt that you'll do great.

I have the genyooooiyne Slap Yo Mama tool, as well....lol

Thanks for the links! I really appreciate the help--it seems when I search something on this forum--a bunch of non-relevant threads pop up and I never get an answer!
I hate to be a pain by asking questions--

Keeping asking questions. We're all here to learn from each other.

I learned on Smok DCT carto tanks. Pyrex, Notched flange cartos, which add ease of the tank not spinning on the carto. Only silly part was learning how to apply ohm's law to a dual coil. Not hard now, but was a little overwhelming for me to start with as an innocent carto virgin.

I'm a total carto .... now, 10 weeks later. I'll stick my cartos into anything with a pulse.:D

Are you kidding? We keep the veterans and other oldbies entertained by giving them a reason to be here at all when we pester them for information...lol
