cigarette and e-cigs are "in rival" now,to continue real cigarettes or follow e-cigs? which is more health? what news and where can catch the right information?
welcome to ECF. you can find a lot of good information here but those of us that have given up tobacco and use e-cigs are healthier because of it. there is a lot of false information put out by special interest groups but e-cigs are much healthier than tobacco products and very useful as a smoking cessation aid

@alittleangel Hello and welcome to the forums!!! To answer your question, you will find plenty of helpful information here in this forum. I can attest to the healthier part of ecigs as I used to smoke for 28 years and quit with the help of the ecig. It has been over a year since I had my last analog and I do not get as winded as easily anymore, have more energy, can smell and taste food a lot better, I smell better, and also declining my use of the ecig without the cravings of cigs coming after me. Hope this helps with your decision. You can only lead a horse to water but, it is up to them if they want to drink it or not.

Hey welcome. It's still iffy on what the long term effects are as the above member posted. It's definitely not harmless, but I feel better inahling vapor and not smelling like cigarettes. I also feel the nicotine buzz is a lot cleaner if that makes any sense.
Yup , i look at it like the lesser of two evils. My lungs feel a hell of a lot better than when i was smoking cigs. I will stick with the vapor.

Without a doubt ECigs.

There are only four ingredients in ejuice.

Flavor
Nicotinr
propylene glycol
vegetable Glycerin.

There are thousands of chemicals in a cigarette.

There is all of the chemicals in the tobacco. Here are the additional ones.

There is the fumes of propane of lighter fluid pulled into your lungs as you light the cigarette.

Cigarette companies have to spray s chemical on the ground Tobacco to keep the dry Tobacco from poking through the paper. This is a carcinogen.

Are you aware that cigarette paper has been soaked in water and potassium nitrate. This is another carcinogen.

As the tobacco smolders it creates carbon monoxide.

In the UK both cigarettes and ECigs were tested and it was found that eCigs had a 98% harm reduction than cigarettes.

There has been a lot of research done by Dr. Farsalinos (SP).

You should also read the testimony of Brushy Bill here on ECF about his health improvement in COPD after switching from cigs to eCigs

Welcome. I've been vaping over two years and feel much better then when I was smoking. I think of it as risk reduction. Vaping was the only method of quitting that worked for me. My goal is to reduce my nic to zero and eventually stop vaping

I got to 0mg nicotine December 28th. Doing great without it. NEVER INTEND to stop vaping.

Kewl! The problems I faced in starting to vape was that there was something missing and it made me uncomfortable. There must be more than nicotine being addictive. It was after two weeks of vaping I had to smoke and I nicked up first on my PV. The cig than didn't mean anything. I never felt that way again. Some people go months before they just drop the cigs. And yes, once you are only nicotine addicted you can quit vaping any time. As it is habit only thing then. Nicotine only addiction is like caffeine addiction.
