I started with a subbox mini kit, as suggested here, and fell in love . Haven't had a cigarette since. Not terribly long ago I got my first mech, a magneto 2. I wanted something decent for the price with options and a magnetic switc . At 20$ I couldn't beat it, plus I wanted to be smart about it in case I didn't like mechs much. Aside from it being finicky, I loved it. Two days ago I got a fuhattan, and phew, after I got it adjusted just right, this thing hits like a freight train. I loved it so much I jumped online and ordered another so I never have to be without it. Idk if anyone else found any good black Friday buys, but kidney puncher was just giving stuff away. For 17$ (including shipping from Arizona to Delaware) I bought: a Lancelot clone, an orchid clone, and a 3d clone. Seeing as there wasn't a single item in the bunch that cost me more than 5$ I figured this was a good chance to test them out and see if im interested in the real thing. They're coming today so I'll update later.
Any who, I'm a full blown mech head now and my subtank combo sits lonely. Everytime I build I get better and better. I'm trying out sleepers at the moment.
A big thank you to everyone here who held my hand and took baby steps with me. Also, thank you to everyone that yelled at me when I was going to put a pink Samsung in a mech and sub ohm, thanks to you, in extremely .... about bettery safety, double and triple checking for shorts and doing constant ohm readings.
