It would be nice if everyone got along. The bitterness needs to stop. There is enough space for everyone. Find what works for each of us and let the rest just go.

There is already too much division in vapeland. If people put as much passion into this the topic being discussed, into fighting the regulations that are being handed down left and right. We could get a lot more turned around in our favor.

Well, I'm afraid that drama is in the eye of the beholder. To Senator Blumenthal, Tom Frieden, Dr. Robert Califf, Karen Smith, etc., our pleas to allow vaping and claims that it will save many lives, are probably "drama". We consider them advocating. It's a lot like Freedom Fighters vs. Rebels, it all depends on where you stand.

We all want to end terrorism, but that doesn't mean that our disgust with waterboarding is divisive or negatively impacts the efforts being made to that end.

Yeah, but admit it, when you are stuck in traffic on the weekend and it's moving slower than the senior citizen ahead of you in line trying to figure out the ATM for the first time, there is a little angry voice in the back of your head is that is thinking "Man! There better be a horrific pile up there with bodies flung everywhere to justify making me late to Target!!!" Yeah, you think it. You don't want it to be true but you think it.

Just a Hypothetical Situation.

If I gave me Input/Ideas to an OEM for an a RTA they were designing, and received No Monetary or Other Compensation for my Input or Ideas, would I need to change my User Status here on the ECF?

Hypothetically, if you refrained from referring to yourself and the OEM as "we" and didn't post that you're marketing the product, I can't see where you are crossing any lines or behaving as an associate.

Just my opinion.

I'd say that if the OEM promoted your name and you promoted the product as your design, it would be worth checking into. IMHO the "problem" to which you are referring isn't the design action, but what followed afterwards.....on both sides.

SJ's change to review some actions, should be a good one, IMHO.

I had to laugh when I checked that other place recently, and someone was complaining about ECF, and trying to recruit people to come over here and troll the members. They got shut down pretty quickly, but it was amusing.

At which point did you find it amusing ?. When some of those members arrived here and started trolling ?. Or was it when they mentioned why they are here ?, and is that why you went there to read about it ?.

And is there any other news from over there you'd like to share with us ?, or is that all you have ?.

Oh and while you were there did you try to encourage any of those members over to the ECF outside forum ?, seeing as it could do with more members. Well according to existing members it does : Invite to the "outside", coolest place in town!

Not much different that what happens every year or so. Many members come and go and almost no one notices. Some leave and others follow and gripe and complain regularly to any audience that will clap and listen for the next decade. Some of that audience comes here with the purpose of getting their posts deleted as a game to hoot and cheer about.
