I iz sad

Can we have a moment of silence for my poor baby the TECs
It gave it's life so that I could be smoke free for a year.........

after a year of abuse it finally had enough and decapitated itself

thank you all for coming to say your goodbyes TECs' light will not be forgotten

in a world where most were using flashlights to create mods, TECs was a rebel and was a mod created to be used as a flashlight

where mods where made to be round the rebel TECs chose to be a square

Cloupor DNA30 from Angelcigs... 69.99 :D Buddy got one from them and it works fantastic. Fires as soon as you press the fire button.

i tried to put it back together but the pressure of the battery keeps pushing it apart :(

donno if maybe I can re glue it? or thinking about one of those thingies they have now like the split vamo's......

You could try applying 4 drops of epoxy spaced evenly around the male part of the press fit, that way its got a few contact points but leaves the majority of the metal clear for the body ground.

Do it without the battery and give it plenty of time to dry before inserting.

I'd bet the epoxy would extend its life for a few more drops.:vapor:

I could 100% fix that, you just need some electrically conductive epoxy

Silver Conductive Epoxy: 10 Mins. Working Time / High Conductivity | MG Chemicals

Don't mourn the loss, fix it better than new! :)
thank you for the link, I will have to try that...
I figured there had to be a way to fix it as the electronics were fine just that it became decapitated....

hehehe it was only fitting to give it a service for all the good deeds it did

but hopefully, we have the means (maybe not the knowhow) to make it better....bwahahahaha...summon the lightening, play the maniacal scientist music...it's time to try to bring it back to life...well once I get that glue that is....
