I am a chain vaper. I vape pretty much all day. I work at a place that the boss thinks it is great trying to quit and lets me vape at my desk - even though the State law says no inside smoking - which this isn't and she has sense enough to understand it!

I am not new to vaping but new to posting in this forum. Congrats on quitting the analogs! I smoked and vaped until I found something that would satisfy me - then I had no problem putting the analogs down. Within a week, man could I tell a difference....can't stand to smell an analog now and I don't miss it a bit!

Wish I had found this forum before I started vaping, I have not touched my pipe for three weeks now and that' after 40years plus as a pipe smoker.
Though I do miss the 'hit' that lighting it up gave I cant get over how easy it has been, I didn't want to give up smoking and vaping is a very acceptable substitute...........but if anyone can suggest a liquid that would substitute for condor full strengh;

How many cigarettes did you smoke per day? I think a lot us of vape heavily in the beginning. It's different than smoking a cigarette, and you get nicotine in a bit of a different way too. Don't sweat it, just vape when you want to.

I visited the site where you got those from, and it said those carto's aren't refillable. I think they may be refillable. Don't throw those empties away! I started with a pre-filled carto, and used the plastic boots that come with them. Get yourself a small amount of juice, and fill a boot (they call them condoms here) about 2/3 full, then SLOWLY push the carto down into it from the end you vape from, not the connection end. use the boot that doesn't have tit inside.

So yeah. just picked up my first e-cig the other day from a company called Wetflame. I got their hydro model which is a two part system and I went with that since, as my first e-cig, I wanted something that was no-fuss, no-muss. Simple and easy.

So far I like it ok, vape production is good, battery has lasted me two days before I had to recharge it and the flavor is...tobacco-y. (I got the tobacco flavor to start so this is good.)

My only complaint, and this is nothing to do with the brand is that it is clearly, in my mind, not like smoking a cigarette. Cigarettes have a defined smoking time determined by how long your cig is and how fast/slow you smoke it. This thing I can smoke all day, indoors and outside, in public or private, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health...you get the idea. Thing is, I'm not sure if the "smoke all day" is the best way to go. I imagine that using this method means I'm smoking a lot more than before with reg cigs?

So how do you all approach smoking with an e-cig? Do you smoke all day or still try to have smoking "times"?

How often can you use refillable cartos, and how do you know when they are finished, cheers

Blank carto's like the one's that are used on the cig-a-likes can usually be refilled about 5 times. The one's that come pre-filled can be refilled about 3 times. That's not cut in stone, however.

People get a little lazy and expect a noobie to know what we know. All juice delivery devices use an atomiser. He probably should have said "drip" atomiser. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&ved=0CDsQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.liberty-flights.com%2Fproduct.asp%3Fid%3D142&ei=piG9UJGGOcjZyQHf14HYDA&usg=AFQjCNGPaOm1xPv5h7I2ZhXHM6V9sOem7Q&sig2=6yCkOCfSfmZTWAu02lY-uQ This is an example of a drip atomiser.

Whats the difference between atomizers and cartos? I thought the atomizer is what the carto fitted onto? pardon my ignorance

I average about a pack a day, or just slightly under that. The worst thing is, even with regular cigs, I would chain smoke at least 2-5 sometimes. So I figured there would be a drop in nicotine no matter how much I smoked the e-cig. But that is partly why is am doing this. Lately I've been going backwards, instead of smoking less, I feel like I have been smoking more. So for that much smoking an ecig seems like a no-brainer. Least I can be slightly healthier while still smoking my lungs out. :)

The plan is, if this works out, and I can stick with it, I'll most likely try out an model that has a refillable cartridge. If I get really crazy, I may actually slowly step down until I'm truly nicotine free. But just trying to take it one step at a time for now.

Aye, liberty is a site that I have tried for e-liquids, can you recommend somewhere on the forum that explains the difference between cartos and atomisers and the pros and cons? one of the few problems I have with vaping is topping up the cartos, anything that makes life easier is appreciated, cheers

Many people may not know much about cartomizers or difference between atomizers and cartomizers. Here we make a comparative analysis between Atomizers and Cartomizers.

Atomizer, as the earliest product in e-cig industry, is a classic, while cartomizer is a revolution customized for lazy smokers. Both atomizer and cartomizer have pros and cons so they have their own fanciers and detractors.
Anyone who wants to find one’s favorite will experience trials and errors. This article mainly lists out the major differences between them for your reference.

What’s the difference in structure?
Atomizer is a two part device in which a cartridge is needed to hold the e-juice. And cartomizer is a two-in-one device, inside which e-juice is held.
Simply speaking, a cartomizer is a cartridge that usually contains a disposable atomizer while an atomizer is reusable and is attached to a cartridge which is usually refillable.

What’s the difference in usage?
For atomizer, you can fill e-juice inside a cartridge and then insert it into the atomizer, or you can also use a driptip to drop several drops of e-juice directly into the atomizer.
For cartomizer, you only need to drop or inject e-juice inside the tube, then vape.

What’s the difference in life span?
Atomizer usually has a long life span. If it is good in quality, well-protected and properly used, it will works for months. One regular Joye atomizer usually can work for 3 months.
However, cartomizer life spans vary from one to one. Some only can be used for once, some only last for days, while some could work for 40 days.

What’s the difference in price?
Atomizer is always more expensive in price while cartomizer is much cheaper than.

What’s the difference in types?
Cartomizers have various kinds, such as bottom coil and top coil system, transparent and non-transparent tube. The capacity range is from 0.9 to 5ml and resistance range from 1.5-3.1 ohm. However, atomizers are limited in choice, usually regular and LR.

Yes, they are quality made and will outlast anything else on the market. AltSmoke Silver Bullet is good if you don't want VV.

Going through the forums here, I'm seeing a lot of Provari love. Considering that it is around $150-$180 is it really worth the expense?
