Hello all! (warning: im too lazy to double check my grammar/spelling)

I quit smoking and switched to vaping December 2013. I started on 650mah cigalike I bought at the mall and bought, what were in hindsight, Ce4 disposable clearos at $10 each weekly (sometime under a week!). Obviously, I got sick of spend this much money! I switched to an MVP 2.0 with a protank mini 2 as my next set up. I bought the MVP 2.0 because many were already praising how durable it was. 2 months in and it just stops working.... I was not happy to say the least. At this point in time, I was also still bumming the occasional cigarette.

So, I bought an energy edition MVP 2.0 next. I slapped a Protank 3 on it, but Kanger's QC for the PT3's coil heads was dog.... at the time. Quickly went back to the Protank mini. This got me by for a while. Of course, at this point I was really sick of buying coil heads that didn't work half the time. I had already become a total youtube dork at this point in time, so I set out to buy an RDA.

I went into my local B&M looking for a Nimbus, but they were sold out. I bought a Kraken instead, which I really had no clue how to operate lol. I was able to wick it with cotton only once, but soon after that the plastic tank broke. So I spent about a month dripping on the Kraken with that same MVP. In fact, my Kraken's OG drip tip is somewhere up on a mountain in Bulgaria! lol, when I got back from that trip, I ordered a Kayfun Lite.

The Kayfun lite was everything I wanted at the time, but eventually it stripped out the MVP's 510, so I decided to purchase a ZMax v3! The extra 4 watts of power was great, and I really enjoyed the form factor. However, the damn top heavy KFL ripped the chip out of the mod one day....

Fed up with the regulated scene, I decided I was ready for a mech. I bought a Copper Penny Clone by Tesla, expecting it to be one of the last mods I would have to buy. WRONG!! The .......n button backed out the next day, shattered the magnets, and I was left with a piece of trash tube. I kept on though. At this point, I was building down to about .5 ohms (no meter at the time lol) on the KFL deck and dripping my juice into the chimney (yes, I literally used the KFL chimney as a drip tip while subohming....)

Finally, a friend of mine offered to give me a Magma RDA clone! I fell in love at first puff. I then got rid of the ....ty penny clone and purchased what is now my current and only mod, an SXK Stingray X clone. I've this mod paired with the Magma for about 5 months now. Still satisfies me to this very day! I do have my eyes on other gear, but I don't have money to spend too often. I'm hoping to buy an authentic RDA next though!

So, it was a long road to get where I am at today, but I am oh so thankful for the folks over on reddit who helped me out. Lately, ECR users have been acting like paranoid nut jobs, so now I am on the old ECF!

Thanks for reading yalll! :) I can't wait until I get my first 5 posts in.... lol I have advice to share!!

Oh man, reading that was a roller coaster of nostalgic vape gear. Thank you so much for that truly enjoyable read my friend! Your ups and downs echo in the stories of all the vapers on here who, like you, took months to find their ideal set up.

Welcome to ECF! May all your questions be answered and may your wick ever be wet.

(Wow that was some Arthurian send off there...)
