mvp 2 with 1.1 ohm kayfun lite???

ok, so i've had my mvp2 for around 4 months now, and am loving it. But I recently ventured into the world of rebuildables with a new kayfun lite plus clone I got yesterday.

Now, I thought that the mvp could not handle resistances below a certain point, but on my chimney build coil I made earlier today, the ohms are reading at 1.1, and it is vaping just fine on there. So what is the lower limit this thing will handle? I actually bought a mech mod as well because I thought it couldn't go under 1.3 or so, but that is obviously wrong.

From memory on another thread, the mvp will handle .9 and above.

Mine will fire a .8 but I usually run 1.3 to 1.6 on my MVP. Any lower and I use a mech or DNA 30

I put a .8 ohm dual coil RDA on the mvp2 before and it fired. But put the same RDA on a mech mod and you will see a significant power difference. IMHO. I feel the mvp2 works best with 1.5-2.0 ohm coils. I'm reserving lower ohm coils for mech mod use. With that said I primarily use the mvp and will until I find a better combination(use) for the mech mod.

I've fired a friends dual coil dripper on my MVP2 that was 1 ohm, but I usually use my KFL+/ Russian Clone with a 1.8-2.0 ohm coil. Great combination imo, can't recommend it enough!
