Superwombat, and others, I totally like what you've been sharing. I have been avidly reading in this forum, as I excitedly await my first starter kit order to arrive. It's just not an easy, mindless thing like smoking analogs, and it's great we have all this techy help here!

This forum does become a lil bit addicting :) the reward for all my reading these past 3 months is I got rid of a 2-sometimes 3 pack a day non-light cigarette habit and will never go back. Anyone else reading I would recommend learning what you can because if you decide it may be for you, it may also save your life (and overall a lot of money!)

So.... lately I've been having a lot of Ecig Envy. I read about all these different models and really want to try some of them out. I sort of regret investing in all the extra batteries and atomizers for the M401, especially since I have yet to have a single one of either fail on me.

If I had a limitless supply of money, I would love to try out the Janty Kissbox. I actually like how it DOESN'T look at all like a ciggie, and I don't think that would bother me at all since I don't miss my analogs one bit lately.

The other thing I want to work with is one of the bigger penstyles, just to see what sort of difference a bigger atomizer makes, as well as not having to refill every 20 minutes.

Speaking of refilling, I decided to try dipping today. I've been avoiding it so far because vaping is something I do while I'm doing OTHER stuff. If I have to stop and re-dip every few seconds, then I'm really not getting anything done.

I didn't really get anything exciting out of the dipping experience. I widened the hole on my (empty) mouthpiece, because I heard that makes a smoother drag, dipped the atomizer in some tasty Peach Cobbler and took a few drags. Seems about the same as with a filled cart IMO.

I think the next thing on my list of "Things to do when Bored" is to mod an old flashlight I have into a mega-ecig. I figure I'll get the biggest atomizer I can find, mount it where the bulb would usually go, then use the old flashlight body as the battery.

This way I'll be able to use regular rechargeable batteries, also my flashlight is one of those where the light only stays on as long as you are holding the button, so it seems ready-made to be a pre-heat/atomizer power switch.

So.... a while back I posted that my batteries and atomizers were holding up amazingly. I think they are starting to show thier age now.

I noticed that I wasn't getting as good of vapor as I'm used to, so I blew out my atomizers. I was really surprised to see how much liquid had collected inside. I'll have to put that on the list of "Things to do more often than once every 6 weeks"

I've been noticing that my batteries don't hold a charge terribly well when I'm not using them. I purchased 5 spare batteries, (for a total of 7) When I got them I charged each one for 8 hours per the instructions. Then I made a container for charged batteries, and another for empty ones. My plan was to cycle through all the batteries so they would get even usage. The issue is that every battery I pull out of the "charged" container, has generally been sitting there charged for at least a week before I use it, and they tend to last a couple of hours at best. This leads me to think that leaving them charged and not in use for a long time is a bad idea. I switched to just using 2 batteries and leaving the rest dormant. I smoke one and let the other charge until mine runs out, then swap. They still last me for at least 18 hours per battery when I use them this way, so the batteries themselves haven't gone bad, they just don't like sitting around holding a charge.

People that want to try small versions of flavors before buying a 20-30 ml bottle of something they may not like might want to check out thesmokelessshop.com. They have 4 ml bottles for 4$. I'm sure there are other places out there that sell small amounts too. I can't manage to stick with one flavor for even a day, I have too much fun playing with a variety of things and mixing flavors together. Of course there are a ton of flavors that I want to try that I haven't ordered yet. At least I won't get bored for a long time :). And no, I'm not affiliated with the smokeless shop, just a happy customer.

Hi everyone, lot's of good info to be had here.
I've been using analogs for 35yrs. A couple of weeks ago, I bought a Fifty-One starter kit along with 6mg a 5 pack of menthol cartomizers locally.

My first impression was: Hardly any flavor, low vapor, not like smoking at all. Still had to hit the analogs in between to quell the cravings.

Did some research here and in other forums, found a lot of good info.

I watched several of the vendors vids and I wound up ordering a Joye 510 Scorpion starter kit along with some Niquid and a refill syringe from dietSMOKES.com on the 1st of July. The order arrived on the 4th of July!!

Followed all the instructions, charging, priming etc. The initial drag off the 510 was tremendous!! I tried vaping just like it was an analog, but with the longer draws. The following draws were less and less impressive. I topped the cart off and tried again with similar results. I also tried the drip method (dripping juice directly on to the atty) with better results, although it seems a little inconvenient to drip every couple of vapes.

Are my results of a full cart lasting less than 1 analog a-typical?
Did I choose unwisely?

Analog free since midnight...
