I'm thrilled with it -- and last Wed it passed the "4 ft drop onto concrete" test with flying colors! :D Got a custom etched one from Phiniac on the way... I'm so excited! :D

cool man! ... Yeah just yesterday I knocked my mod off the table and BOOM! I thought for sure my tank would be toast but it didn't hurt it... I probably won't be so fortunate next time. I am happy for you about your custom etched one! When you get it you'll have to post some pics of it. I would like to see it.

Just one of the reasons I switched over to the Achilles RDAs... no "tank" to break! It did pop the top of the knucklehead drip tip out of its little bowl, but I popped it right back in, and away I went, still vaping.

Just this morning I got the fix for the knucklehead popping apart --

Just got that one, and the mouth-part fits so tightly in that bowl, it WON'T pop apart! (or even move unexpectedly -- you have to expend some effort to move it around in the bowl). Great vape, too -- very slender opening, small tip, very smooth on the lips. GREAT flavor!

I agree, I tried, Fin, Njoy, and Blu, and thought they all sucked, so I got mad enough to come here and find something I'd actually like -- got an eRoll, and that worked since I could put my own choice of flavors in it, but I soon recognized the drawbacks of such a small form-factor (refilling and charging *constantly*), so I moved up to a pen-style, then the larger tube mods, and now prefer the small box mods -- iStick30 and *especially* the Coolfire4. They feel better in the hand, and they don't fall over so easily when standing.

Most interesting Andria and thanks for the feedback! To be very honest with you, I live up here in hicksville Montana and the science of vaping has really not caught on in my neck of the woods. I live in a city called Livingston and we did have one store that got set up here, but that business only lasted about 4 months or so. It was my understanding that the owners moved over to Bozeman, Montana. My point being is that the only vaping type of gear I ever seen in my life were those "Blu" e-cigarettes that you see advertised on TV once in awhile. Even though I tried hard, there was just no way that I liked them things. I had several other family members try them with the same results. Non the less, your account is most interesting and I appreciate it

The only vape hardware I've ever bought in an actual store are driptips -- everything else is way over-priced, with retail markup and THEN SOME! I buy everything online! :thumb:

@Cognator - Welcome aboard, and thank you for your service. My next door neighbor is also a 'Nam Vet. I've stumbled across your bro, @AXIOM_1 (didn't even hurt when I tripped over him ;) I prolly did more damage to him than he could to me :D )

Congrats on giving up the stinkies. Not everyone can do it the first time they vape. I picked up a cig-alike kit back in 2010. Took me 'til March, 2014 before I finally laid down the cancer sticks. Can't stop me now!!!!!

You've found an amazing conglomeration of people and experiences here. And, you're darn right how pitifully our Veterans are treated. I'm sad to see that, but I'm glad that *YOU* are persevering. Kick .... and take names later!

Well Andria, I really don't know what a drip tip is, however I seen one of your pictures on this page, so now I have a fairly good idea. Thank you. Yes, I would imagine that vaping items in these specialty stores are quite expensive. I have never been in a vape store, so I just cannot say. Thanks! :)

I am very slow at these replies so you will have to forgive me. This business of going "cold turkey" has been rough, I will admit that. I could literally write a book about the Veterans Admin, but shall refrain. My main focus is just to remain cigarette free. If I started thinking about all that mess, I would surely crave cigarettes again. I appreciate the welcome :)
