Well, I'm going to have to do it. I have been eating everything in sight lately and a lot of times if I fix my cabbage dish I will be satisfied. You all know how it is ... you crave something but you don't know what you want.

For some reason, if I fix my cabbage/corn/bacon concoction that feeling goes away. My daughter will not like me tonight but oh well.

You fry 7-8 slices of bacon and when it is done set the bacon aside. In the bacon drippings you put a shredded head of cabbage and a can of drained whole kernel corn and cook until the cabbage is tender. Crumble the bacon in the cabbage and corn, salt & pepper to taste. Wah Lah....cabbage concoction! lol

Oh and, it's really great if you have some cornbread with it.

Went to the doc's today, well it's final, I need to diet and excercise. I peeked as they weighed me and the number was going up and up, I didn't even see the final weight, didn't want to!!! lol...it was already bad enough. I looked at the diet thread and saw some good suggestions there...

I'm unsure as to everyone' age here, but I saw a segment on the news the other day that said women in their late 30's 40's need to build muscle as that is what their bodies are craving. I'll have to try and find the link to that to see what that was all about....seems like it had something to do with testarone?

This would apply to me as I'm 48:glare:

My daughter and I decided to try some "new" to us dinners once or twice a month. Tonight we made grilled veggie's (squash, zuke and eggplant as well as some sauted leeks, tomatosand mushrooms. Then we made steak and she made stuffed problemo peppers! OMG! Those peppers weren't too hot but the taste..devine, she sliced them in half and stuffed them with cream cheese and wrapped them in smoked bacon. We broiled them with the steaks. What a wonderful meal.
