Outre...which desert ? I moved here from Palmdale !

Coachella Valley, better known as the home of Palm Springs, but I'm about twenty miles east in Indio, CA.

Eggs and catsup are okay, I get a taste for them now and again. Never tried peanut butter in the mix, maybe I will next time ...

Ggggrrrrrr...I'm highly annoyed....

I bought two smoked sausages and a roast at the store yesterday and found out this morning that the bags weren't put in our cart. Now I have to go back to the store and hope they'll fix it so I can make the roast that I planned for dinner tonight!

Good luck on that one! Actually if it's a small store you go to a lot, you have a good chance.
The town I live in is small and everybody knows everybody. Here someone from the store would call and tell you that you left it.

That is so frustrating ! We had that happen in a store...the bag missing was all the vitamins and healthcare stuff...a very expensive bag.....I was afraid they were going to give us grief, but there was no problem at all !

I think scrambled egg sandwiches with romaine and cottage cheese and salsa.

S.O.S. or better known as Creamed Chipped beef on toast...lol Tomorrow some beef stew, heavy on veggies.

I got the stuff with no questions asked! We go to this store on a regular basis, and even though we live in Denver a lot of the employees there know us by name. The Customer Service clerk remembered seeing the bag just sitting at the end of the check-out stand when her shift ended and tossed it out. She recognized me when I came in and I told her what happened. She didn't even look at my receipt, told me to go get some new stuff and she'd bag it for me. Problem solved and DINNER IS IN THE CROCK POT!

I'll fess up and say, I love spam!.........just sliced and fried. It's also a nostalgia thing for me.

Tonight, yet another salad; an antipasto type thing. Meat salad!

Last night ended up not being the incredible mexican food I crave, it was Taco Bell tacos. lol. But it filled my belly and I didn't heat up the kitchen cooking, so no complaints. Tonight I get my Chinese.

Tomorrow is fried pork chops, mashed taters & gravy, black eyed peas, fresh spinach, sliced tomato's, and rolls. Peach cobbler w/nilla ice cream for dessert. I rarely fry meats anymore, but Chris is hungry for southern fried pork chops, double dip battered.

Tonight is blah, but tomorrow is my day. Now I'm thinking that Chinese buffet is perfectly suited to my goal of eating as much as possible, preferably in the form of simple carbs. I will probably just get a huge pile of sticky rice and spring rolls. Maybe some sweet and sour sauce.

I love SOS....grew up on that and fried spam sandwiches. Both my dad's favorites!!
