A newbie needing some help.

hello ,
Just started vaping about 2 weeks ago. I got the Ego-C (650mah) It comes with 5 little atomizer heads, and it just seems that they get clogged so fast or dont produce a big enough hit. Is there a better alternative? is there a way to clean them? Could I be doing something wrong as im new to this and trying to figuere it out as I go. Any advice will help thanks in advance.

There are a lot of better alternatives to tank atty set-ups. Cartomizers and the various types of clearomizers do a much better job of producing vapor. tank attys are outdated and are included as low cost freebies on cheap starter kits.

Unfortunately Yzer is 100% right! Those tank systems suck! Try getting you some cartomizers I would stay away from dual coils If I were you on a ego battery. I buy mine from ecig Charleston they have a great selection. They will also quickly answer any questions you might have.

your atomizer sucks, ditch it. get a pack of lr single coil cartomizers to start out and your first vape experience will begin.

I can only recommend two things.

1: the EGO twist 1000mah "replacement battery" which are around 24 bucks a piece.
2: the Vision Vivi Nova which is a rebuildable tank that will suffice on any voltage (the Ego Twist being a variable voltage device on the cheap) since it comes with 3 atomizer heads of various resistances.

Your battery is fine, just pair it up with some low resistance cartomizers and you'll be good to go. Did you get ripped off? Perhaps a little, but at the end of the day you're vaping, which is a much better alternative. To make you feel better, I paid $150 for my first kit and it only came with one cig sized battery.

What they said... your battery is fine, it's the atty systems that suck. Single coil cartos are a much better way to go. I use 3.5ml tanks with single coil cartos on my Ego's.. I have 5 of them ready to go at all times and they last for days. You might also like the new rebuildable vision clearomizers.. Thanks for all the advice guys, Looks like most of you think I should go with a low resistance cartomizer, so I will try it out.

You need to be sure they are 510 threaded. Look for something that says 510 LR cartomizers etc...
You need to get the ohms somewhere around 1.7-2.0 ohms.
Like they said above, stay away from dual coil cartomizers. If you want a larger capacity, get the XL SINGLE coil cartomizers.

BTW, LR stands for low resistance, in case you didn't know.

I'm sure they'd be fine, but they're not very big, you would be topping the carto off very regularly. If you want something that holds a bit more juice, something like this would be a good option: https://smoktek.3dcartstores.com/eGo-ReJuvenator-17-ohm-low-resistance-cartomizer_p_221.html

They would fit on your Ego batteries without the need for a separate cone.

Hi Poker....Welcome & congrats. I'm not going to knock the 'c' or the 't' - Those 2 are what got me out of cigs after 50 years.

You didn't mention whether you had the 'a' or the 'b' model - the 'b' atty & tank are the larger of the 2 & hold more juice plus will deliver a stronger hit. Vicky at Cignot has a video that will show you how to clean the atty; it can be found on you tube.

I will confess that I've moved on to cartos & tanks as I found them to be much less hassle, stronger hit, less costly & saving the best for last....ta-dah...saving money on paper towel. Just vape on!

Poker...I do believe that a 650mah battery isn't the size recommended for a LR carto; if I'm not mistaken (open to correction) you really should have 1000mah. I've ordered tons of the Boge 510LR's from Surevape & another carto that I just love is the Smoketec 510XXL - these I ordered from crystal clear vapor (the carto is called the Resurrector).

Thanx for the info, I went with your choice and got the 25 cartomizers for $22.99.
Really excited to try it out. It says they gave me USPS first class.... any idea how many days it takes to ship?
