You don't have to clean them. Just drip juice in until it looks slushy on top. Make sure it's really full or youll burn it & that tastes nasty!!

There's youtube videos on how to fill them too. Sometimes it's easier if you can see what they're talking about.
Also, I got some boges 510 lr cartos and some boges 510 lr XL......do you prime both of the same way? It seems like the XL arent working as well..... I never hear that sizzling sound when I use those like I do when I use the regular sized ones. Im so confused.
Since your setup is not a variable volt. I'd suggest that you get the Vivi Nova. The original kit contains a 1.8ohm a 2.4ohm and a 2.8ohm. You can try all three and than the one you like best you just order the atomizer separate for around $3.00 a atty.
They last at least 1 week to two weeks so it's pretty inexpensive.

In addition the Vivi Nova is a clearomizer system. Once you start vaping on clearomizers you will gag when you vape on a standard Polyfill atomizer.

Tried a few more of my cartomizers since i got a 25 pack, and I still cant get a great vape. Maybe the ego C 650 just sux!

I wish i could help you out but i have no experience with Boges. On the surface it appears you should be getting a fairly decent vape so i hope a Boge user will come along with some advice. I think the Ego C is regulated fairly low around 3.3 or 3.4 volts, but with a 2ohm carto the vape should be okay. You won't get the throat hit and vapor of a 1.7ohm single coil but it should be fairly decent. Wish i could help you out a bit more.
Pokergod, the battery should be fine, the only downside for a 650 vers say the 1000 is battery life. The major impact for vapor is the delivery system and the juice. While I haven't used Boges, I do know a lot of people here swear by them.
So what juice are you using?

Nic lvl = th (throat hit)
PG brings out the th and the flavor
VG mutes th and flavor but produces more vapor
Also are you staying hydrated, as that will play a part in your experience with e-cigs.

Now I fill my cartos at night & let them soak overnight. Kinda overkill but it gives me a great vape in the morning with coffee.
The next thing you need is high vg ejuice. I use 100% vg. Great vapor with Boges.
Nothing wrong with your battery. You just need a little more practice.

my 1st 2 bottles came with my kit and are both 30%vg and 70% pg and are 18mg and I dont use them very often.
I also got 2 bottles from vapor phoenix and 1 from vapedudes and all those are 50%vg and 50%pg and 24mg
and also got 1 bottle from a local store and it just says reduced pg on it. I have no clue about vg and pg and what the best mix is. I always drink lots of water so that isnt the problem. I just found out you are suppose to shake the bottles when you get them,which Ive never done! could that be a part of the problem?

I'm not giving up, just a bit frustrated and want the vaping experience you veterans are getting!
The video you posted is actually the video I watched on how to prime and fill the cartos.
Do you use the XL cartos, does dotn seem to work as well as the regular boges for me. Do u prime does the say way as the regular sized ones? I never hear that sizzling sound when i try to vape with the XL boges.
Im going to try your way and let the cartos soak over night and hope that works out.
