In my personal opinion, atomizers will last longer than cartomizers with proper care. As for which ones are better, it's personal preference and is all up to which one you like best. I personally like both cartomizers and clearomizers, but I think and many will agree that nothing beats the flavor of using a good ol' atomizer. Only downside is the constant dripping compared to fill and forget until empty.

I agree with Samurai. The flavor of an atomizer is best, but only when dripping. Using them with a cartridge or tank is usually a pretty lousy experience. I like both cartos and clearos, too, although I have had many more negative experiences with clearos not wicking properly. Once you get settled on a clearo you like, though, they can be pretty satisfying. They're great when you're starting out, too, because it's easy to see what your juice level is. Personally, the BCCs do it for me.

If you're already used to dripping, cartomizers should be a breeze. You have to keep them wet, but they don't need juice as quickly. Clearomizers are nice, but they don't put out the vapor like cartos. Plus you can run into issues like as mentioned already. When I don't want to fiddle, and just need something to work....I will go straight for cartomizers.

Hello, i just started vaping and as is the case with newbies i am confused with all the hardware and juices. I recently ordered an Ego-c 650mAh upgrade kit. I want to ask if using a clearomizer or cartomizer would be better than the atomizer that i have right now?And do the cartomizers last longer than atomizers?

I think the above posters are confused. Are you talking about using the Ego atomizers? Like the ones that you have to use the type A and B cartridges? Those are pretty confusing. Clearomizers and cartomizers are definitely easier, but you may not get as much flavor. Most newbies are not even using those anymore and just use clearomizers on their batteries.

I would stay away from clearomizers as acidic liquids or flavors can easily break them. Dark flavors will also crack the plastic in the clearomizers after 2 weeks or so without using them at all.
Cartridges are pretty bad also and if your new in vaping i suggest the following:

Ego 650 battery
Atomizer (bridgless or low resistance if you want but an original atomizer is okay)
A drip tip to attach to your atomizer
Charger for your battery
Flavors!!!! (find your favorite - mtbakervapor.com has some cheap and affordable solid flavors starting at $7.50 for a 30mL bottle)

Thats all you need to start vaping just how I did.

Any questions feel free to message me personally.

Crap! You're absolutely right! I missed the EGO-C part!
Those are the ones that used to be called Tankomizers if I recall. Didn't work for me, too much hassle, so I ditched them and went with cartomizers and clearomizers.

Good catch Jazzi Mike!!

I use clearomizer Kangertech T3S however I'm getting leakin issues on battery. What could cause this? I've taken it a apart changed liquids dry burned coil and put flavor wicks back after thoroughly cleaning things. I can't get rid of the taste of previous juice an it's gurgling and leaking. I was very diligent in adding eliquid to not get in center post of atomizer. Sorry to hijack but I can't see the option for new thread right now.

Try taking one flavor wick out to stop leaking, also just try another head altogether because iv had defective heads from Kanger before... Letting it soak in hot water helps get old taste out but dry burn usually works well too.
