I bought my OBS Crius V3 about 3 months ago. When I bought it I tried multiple builds and wicked many times and I just wasn't happy. The juice wasn't juicing up the wick properly and I was getting burnt hits and I was wasn't on too many watts. Today I took it out and thought that since I was bored I'd give it a try, again. I inspected the coils, 24G kanthal 6 wraps with about a 2.2/3 inside diameter and centered them better, I pulsed them and removed the hotspots if there were any. Now that the coils were pulsing evenly, it was time to wick. This time I decided to use more of a thicker wick than usual but it wasn't too tight inside the coil. I was able to tuck in the ends very well in the slots even with the thickness of the wick (I used thicker wick because I thought last times I wicked there wasn't enough wick for the 30 watts I had my mod at). This time instead of using 80/20 vg-pg, I used 50/50. The results are amazing. At 30 watts I am able take a nice long drag without tasting burnt. I think the 50/50 juice was a great idea because it's wicking really well. It feels really good to finally get it.

I guess it's all trial and error, trying something new and getting it right. I just so happy that I was able to take my OBS Crius out of storage and actually enjoy it after all it gave me was hell. If anyone has any further tips and tricks on using this RTA I would definitely appreciate that. I'll still mostly be puffing on my Nautilus 2 a majority of the time, tootle puffing I guess but I definitely would like feedback about this RTA. Thanks :).

Wicking is tricky . .hopefully just when you first start, lol. I've been struggling to get really good wicking in my Kylin RTA. It's always either vapor locking or leaking, etc. My best wicks so far have not leaked or locked but also not quite kept up to where I'd like them - giving hits that, while not 'dry', are not as saturated as I know they can be. I picked up an RDA because I'm getting kind of tired of struggling with wicking the tank.

It can help to watch the various wicking videos for your particular atty. They may have some good ideas for you. You are correct that it gets easier though. I had my Ammit basically licked when I broke my second glass and couldn't get another that fit correctly. The ones on fasttech were a fraction too wide and long, and nothing worked right again. Glass breakage is another reason I gave up rtas.
